Samba Police Arrests Principal For Corporal Punishment On 4th Class Student
Samba, May 10 : Samba police, under the overall supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, has arrested Principal of a private school for inflicting corporal punishment on a minor 4th class student upon the written complaint lodged by the family members.
The news regarding meting out physical punishment by the Principal to the 9 year old student, who is innocent & having his father passed away, had gone viral on various social media platforms and in the meanwhile, family members also lodged a written complaint against the said Principal of Saffron Nightingale Public School Rajinder Pura (Bagoona) Vijaypur at Police Station Vijaypur.
Police registered FIR No. 55/2023 under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Juvenile Justice Act at Police Station Vijaypur, conducted raids at suspected locations and arrested the accused Principal. Further investigation of the case and interrogation of the accused is underway.
The arrested Principal has been identified as Kuldeep Jallu alias Bablu s/o Krishan Lal r/o Rajinder Pura ( Bagoona), tehsil Vijaypur district Samba. Arrest of the Principal was made by police team consisting of SHO Police Station Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria and PSI Sohail Munir under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
