Jammu – Srinagar Traffic Advisory for Highway (NH-44):
- Light motor vehicles (LMVs), passenger cars, heavy motor vehicles (HMVs) and load carriers will be allowed from both sides between Jammu and Srinagar, subject to fair weather and road conditions.
- Security forces convoys will also be allowed from both sides. Commuters are advised to follow lane discipline.
Srinagar – Sonamarg – Kargil Road:
- Subject to fair weather, LMVs followed by HMVs will be allowed from Minamarg towards Srinagar between 8:30am – 11:00am.
- Similarly, LMVs followed by HMVs will be allowed from Sonamarg towards Kargil between 12:30pm – 3:30pm. No vehicles shall be allowed outside these timings.
- The SFs convoy from Srinagar to Kargil will leave at 8:00am. The convoy from Drass to Srinagar should plan their movement to avoid disrupting civilian traffic.
Mughal Road:
- Vehicular movement will be allowed from Poonch towards Shopian and vice versa between 10:00am – 3:00pm after clearance from road authorities.
- Vehicles will be allowed from Behramgalla (Buffliaz) and Herpora (Shopian).

- Commuters are advised to confirm road status before travelling on the Jammu-Srinagar highway from the following traffic control units:
