Transfers and postings of engineers in PW (R&B) Department
Srinagar 5 Jan(KB): In a routine administrative reshuffle, the Jammu & Kashmir government today issued orders for the transfer and posting of two junior engineers in the Public Works (R&B) Department.
As per the government order, Junior Engineer Asif Nawaz has been transferred from the R&B Division Gandoh to the Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board. Meanwhile, Junior Engineer Gulam Abbas, who was posted at the Waqf Board, has been recalled and his services have been placed at the disposal of the Chief Engineer, Chenab Valley Circle for further posting.

The transfers were ordered in the interest of administration and assigned with immediate effect, as per the government order issued by Shailendra Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary, Public Works Department.
With these new postings, the Jammu & Kashmir government aims to improve the functioning and efficiency of its engineering staff across various wings of the Public Works Department. The transfers are a routine process and more reshuffles are expected in the coming days.–(Kashmir Bulletin)
