The National Testing Agency, NTA, will release the much-awaited UGC NET Result 2024 and the final answer key anytime soon. Here is the step-by-step guide to checking scorecards on the official website.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the UGC NET Result 2024 and the Final Answer Key on its official website soon. The provisional answer keys for the UGC NET exams conducted from August 27 to September 4, 2024, have already been released.
Earlier, provisional answer keys for the exams held on August 21, 22, and 23, 2024, were also made available.
UGC NET Result 2024: HOW TO CHECK SCORECARDS
Step 1: Go to the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link labelled ‘UGC NET Result 2024’.
Step 3: A new page will open.
Step 4: Enter the required credentials and click on submit.
Step 5: Your result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Download your result and print it for your records.
The NTA has released the provisional answer keys for the exams, allowing candidates to challenge them. Each challenge required a payment of Rs 200.
The extended period for submitting objections to the provisional answer key closed on September 14, with results anticipated soon. Subject experts will evaluate the challenges, and any valid objections will lead to revisions in the final answer key. The UGC NET Result 2024 will be announced based on this final answer key.
MARKING SCHEME
For the UGC NET exam, candidates received two marks for each correct answer, with no penalties for incorrect responses. Questions that were unanswered, unattempted, or marked for review did not earn any points.
