University of Kashmir Announces Ph.D. Admissions for 2024
The University of Kashmir has announced admissions to its Ph.D. programs for the year 2024. The application process is online and will begin on May 1, 2024. The last date for submission of applications is May 15, 2024.
Eligibility
Candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR/ICAR-NET/JRF, SET/GATE/M.Phil. are eligible to apply.
Programs Offered
The Ph.D. programs are offered in a wide range of disciplines, including Applied Geology, Arabic, Archaeology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioresources, Botany, Clinical Biochemistry, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Education, Electronics, English, Environmental Science, Food Science & Technology, Geography/ Disaster Management, Geoinformatics, Hindi, Home Science, Library & Information Science, Linguistics, Management Studies, Mass Communication & Journalism, Mathematics, Microbiology, Nanotechnology, Persian, Physics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Social Work, Statistics, Tourism & Travel Management, Urdu, and Zoology.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on an interaction with the Departmental Research Committees (DRCs). The interaction will be held on May 27, 2024. The list of selected candidates will be announced by the respective Deans on June 15, 2024.

How to Apply
Candidates can apply online by visiting the University website https://www.kashmiruniversity.net/ and clicking on “Application Form for research programmes-2024” under the admission tab. The application fee is Rs. 100/- and must be paid online.

- Issuance of selection list by respective Deans: June 15, 2024
