University of Kashmir Announces Summer Vacations for 2024
Srinagar, July 18, 2024- The University of Kashmir has officially announced its summer vacation schedule for the year 2024. According to a notice issued by the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs, the teaching departments of the University and its satellite campuses will observe summer vacations from July 25 to August 3, 2024.
Despite the break in academic activities, the departmental offices will continue to operate normally. Heads, Directors, and Coordinators of various departments, campuses, and centers are instructed to ensure that examinations, if scheduled, and other administrative activities proceed without interruption.
The notice, signed by the Joint Registrar of Academic Affairs, emphasizes the continuation of essential administrative functions to maintain the University’s operational efficiency during the vacation period.
The announcement has been communicated to various university officials and departments, including the Dean Academic Affairs, Deans of Schools, Registrar, Dean of Students Welfare, Heads/Directors/Coordinators of Departments, Librarian of Allama Iqbal Library, Chief Proctor/Chief Warden, Special Secretary to the Vice-Chancellor, Director of IT & SS for web updates, Officer In-charge of the Sub Office in Jammu, all officers of the Registry/Examination wing, Assistant Registrar (Administration), and the Public Relations Officer.
This timely notice ensures that all concerned parties are informed well in advance, allowing for smooth planning and coordination across the University’s campuses during the summer vacation period.
