University of Kashmir Invites Applications for B.Ed Admissions 2023-25

   

The University of Kashmir, located in Hazratbal, Srinagar, has issued a notification inviting online applications for its Two-Year B.Ed. Programme for the session 2023-25. This program is available at both the Main Campus and South Campus of the Department of Education.

University of Kashmir: Eligibility Criteria:

Prospective candidates are required to hold a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 pattern) with a minimum of 50% marks for the General Category and 45% for Reserved Category. Additionally, those under the 10+2+2 scheme with at least two years of teaching experience in government or government-recognized private schools are also eligible to apply. Postgraduate candidates with a minimum of 50% marks (General Category) and 45% (Reserved Category) in any discipline are eligible for admission.

– Availability of Online Forms: 14th December 2023 to 13th January 2024

University of Kashmir Application Process:

1. Visit Kashmir University’s official website or www.Kashmiruniversity.ac.in
2. Click on the B.Ed. Application Form link for the Department of Education (Main and South Campus).
3. Read important instructions for registration and form submission.
4. Register as a student, remembering the username and password for future reference.
5. Login to the system after successful registration to submit the online application form.
6. Enter the required details, upload a recent passport-size photograph, and proceed to the next step.
7. Upload original marks certificates of graduation, P.G. marks certificates (for P.G. candidates), and any valid category certificate.
8. Before submitting, double-check the entered information. Get a printout of the form and note the ID for future reference.
9. Deposit Rs. 750/- as the application and IT fee through online mode (non-refundable).

University of Kashmir Additional Information:

Candidates should check the status of their application after three days. If the form is accepted, they should contact the concerned J&K Bank branch and the Dean College Development Council office promptly.
Incomplete application forms will not be processed for admission.
Admission under any Reserved Category is subject to the genuineness of the category certificates.
Admission will adhere strictly to the guidelines of NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education).
