The Department of Clinical Biochemistry at the University of Kashmir has announced an exciting opportunity for a Project Fellow in a time-bound research project titled “Proteomic studies of Ashwagandha for Identification and Characterization of its anti-cancerous protein(s)/peptide(s): Towards Exploration of novel protein-based drug molecules.”

The project, sanctioned by J&K Science Technology and Innovation Council, DST, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir, New Delhi, aims to delve into the potential anti-cancer properties of Ashwagandha, a medicinal herb known for its various health benefits.

– Position: Project Fellow
– Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Clinical Biochemistry/Biochemistry with not less than 55% marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates with prior experience in Cloning, Expression, and purification of proteins will be given preference.
– Emoluments: The selected candidate will receive remuneration as per the guidelines of the funding agency.
– Application Deadline: Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications on the prescribed format by 15-02-2024, up to 4:30 pm.
