University of Kashmir reminder to all affiliated colleges regarding AISHE Portal Registration
The University of Kashmir (KU) is reminding all of its affiliated colleges to register on the AISHE Portal. The AISHE Portal is a web-based platform that collects information about higher education institutions in India. This data is used by the government to track the progress of higher education in the country.
In a notice issued by the Office of the Dean, College Development Council (CDC) on November 13, 2023, all affiliated colleges were directed to register on the AISHE Portal by [date]. However, the KU has found that some colleges have not yet done so.
The notice states that the colleges that have not registered on the AISHE Portal must do so by April 5, 2024. If the colleges do not register by this deadline, the matter will be brought to the attention of higher authorities.
The AISHE Portal registration process is relatively simple. Colleges can register for the portal by following these steps:
- Visit the AISHE Portal website.
- Click on the “Registration” link.
- Enter the required college details, such as the college name, address, and affiliation.
- Submit the registration form.
Once registered, colleges will be able to submit their online data for the 2022-23 academic year. This data includes information about the college’s students, faculty, and programs.
The KU is urging all of its affiliated colleges to register on the AISHE Portal as soon as possible. By registering on the portal, colleges can help the KU to track the progress of higher education in Kashmir.
