Weather Alert From 17-21st February
A Major Western disturbance likely to bring heavy to very heavy rain/snow over Jammu and Kashmir starting from 17th Feb night.
According to Independent Weatherman Aadil Maqbool Snowfall Accumulation expected over Higher reaches ( 2 feet – 6 feet ) Tourist places like Sonamarg, Gulmarg, Kokarnaag, Pahalgam & Doodhpatri can receive upto 2 feet -4 feet Snowfall.
Kashmir plains also see Good Snowfall accumulation between 18-21st Feb, Jammu plains may also receive moderate to heavy rain / thundershowers during above period.
17th Feb Weather : mostly cloudy sky is expected with chances of light rain / snow over few parts . overall nothing major is expected.
18 February: Widespread moderate to heavy rain over plains with heavy snowfall over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir.from evening chances of Snowfall over some plains of Kashmir.
19th February: Moderate to heavy snowfall over many plains with heavy to very heavy snowfall over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir.
20th February: intermittently Snowfall over plains with heavy to very heavy snowfall over upper reaches of Jammu and Kashmir.
21 Feb: light to moderate rain /snow with improvement in weather towards late afternoon/evening.
