Recruitment Notification: Anganwadi Workers and Helpers in Eidgah, Jammu & Kashmir

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Eidgah, has released an Advertisement Notice No: 01-CDPO-Eid/2025 dated 10-02-2025 for the recruitment of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers – AWW) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers – AWH) in Anganwadi Centres under the Poshan Project Eidgah.

Vacancy Details

A total of 15 positions have been announced:

• Anganwadi Workers (Sanginis – AWW): 05 posts
• Anganwadi Helpers (Sahayikas – AWH): 10 posts

These positions will be filled on an honorarium basis under the POSHAN Project.

Application Process

Eligible candidates can apply by submitting their applications in the prescribed format as per Annexure “A”.

• Start date for submission: 10-02-2025
• Last date for submission: 25-02-2025
• Annexure B: Includes details of the post, location, qualification, and selection criteria.
• Annexure C: Includes affidavit submission.

Eligibility Criteria

For Anganwadi Workers (AWW)

1. Must be a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K).
2. Women candidates between 18 to 37 years are eligible.
3. Should be a resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
4. Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) but should not be a graduate.
5. If no eligible candidates are found within the ward, preference may be given to candidates from adjoining wards.
6. Selection is based on merit (10+2 marks), and no additional weightage will be given.

For Anganwadi Helpers (AWH)

1. Selection is restricted to candidates from the electoral ward of the Anganwadi Centre.
2. Women candidates aged 18 to 37 years can apply.
3. Minimum qualification: Matriculation (10th standard).
4. If no matriculate candidate is available, 8th pass candidates may be considered.
5. Preference will be given to the most needy candidates from destitute or economically weaker backgrounds.

Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit original documents and self-attested photocopies of:

• Educational qualification certificates (Marksheets/Diplomas/Degrees)
• Date of Birth Certificate / Matriculation Certificate
• Domicile Certificate
• Unmarried Certificate (if applicable)
• Two passport-size photographs
• Original Photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID Card)

Failure to produce the necessary documents within the prescribed deadline will result in disqualification.
