Government of Jammu and Kashmir Announces Tentative Selection Lists for Anganwadi Workers and Helpers
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has released the provisional selection lists for the recruitment of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Shayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) under different projects. These lists have been published by the respective Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs) for the Poshan Projects of Qazigund and Kakapora.

Tentative Selection for Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) – Qazigund
In response to Advertisement Notice No. 04 of 2024 dated 28.02.2024, the CDPO Qazigund has announced the tentative selection list for Panch Ward-06 of Anganwadi Center Damjan-A.
After evaluating applications on merit, Beauty Jan (D/O Abdul Majeed Teeli) has been selected as the most meritorious candidate with 78.4% marks. Candidates have been given 10 days to file any objections regarding the selection. If no objections are received within the stipulated period, the selection will be finalized.

Provisional Selection for Shayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) – Kakapora
Similarly, the CDPO Kakapora has released the provisional selection list for Anganwadi Helpers as per Government Order No. 103 JK (SWD) of 2023 dated 28.04.2023. The selection process, which commenced in December 2024, has led to the shortlisting of four candidates for various Anganwadi Centers under the Kakapora Project.
The selected candidates include:
- Kulsuma Akhter (Pahoo)
- Arshida Jan (Marwal)
- Sabina Majeed (Kakapora)
- Shayasta Rashid (Lajoora)
Additionally, a merit list of other applicants has also been published. Objections or appeals can be submitted within 10 working days from the date of publication of the notice.

- After the objection period, the final selection will be confirmed.
