Indian Space Research Organisation has invited applications for Technician ‘B’/Draughtsman ‘B’ posts. The application process is ongoing and the deadline for the submission of the application form is August 21. Interested candidates can apply online at www.isro.gov.in.
ISRO Recruitment 2023 vacancy details: This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 35 vacancies of which 34 vacancies are for Technician ‘B’ and one vacancy are for the Draughtsman ‘B’ posts.
ISRO Recruitment 2023 age limit: The candidate’s age should be between the age of 18 to 35 years.
ISRO Recruitment 2023 selection process: The mode of Selection will be a Written Test and a Skill Test. The written test of 90 minutes duration will be conducted first with 80 multiple choice questions carrying one mark for each correct answer. There will be a negative marking of 0.33 mark for each wrong answer. Based on the performance in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test in a 1:5 ratio with a minimum of 10 candidates.
ISRO Recruitment 2023 application fee: All candidates must pay a uniform application cost of 500. Candidates in fee-exempt categories will receive a full refund. Other candidates will be refunded 400 after deducting the application fee of 100.
It is for candidate to ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria, complies with the requirements and adhere to the instructions contained in this advertisement as well as in the application form. Candidates are, therefore urged to carefully read the advertisement and complete the application form and submit the same as per instructions given in this regard.
The number of vacancies indicated above are provisional and may be increased or decreased depending on the actual requirements of the Organisation. The Centre reserves the right to cancel recruitment at any stage / not to fill-up any of the post, as per administrative requirements.
The candidates shall be given option in online application to choose centre for written examination from among the eighteen cities viz; Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi and Thiruvananthapuram. The allocation of examination city shall be done based on the number of applications received. SAC reserves the right to conduct the examination only in Ahmedabad, or in additional multiple cities as feasible. The centre for written test will be notified to the candidate, which shall be final and binding.
Intimation to screened-in candidates for Written Test/Skill Test will be sent through E-mail/ SAC website only. For this purpose, candidates are required to furnish their E-mail ID correctly and compulsorily while submitting the application. Moreover, the applicants are advised to check their e-mail regularly and visit the SAC website from time to time. SAC/ISRO will not be responsible for non-receipt of intimation to the candidates for any reason.
Candidates will have to produce original documents in proof of the details furnished in their application for verification at the time of Skill Test. Those who fail to produce the said
documents will not be allowed to attend the Skill Test and TA will not be paid.
Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement can be instituted in Ahmedabad; and the Courts at Ahmedabad only shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any such cause/disputes.
