SBI SCO Recruitment 2023 for 442 posts, Apply for manager & specialist posts

State Bank of India, SBI has invited applications for Specialist Cadre Officer posts. Eligible candidates can apply for the posts through the official site of SBI at sbi.co.in. The registration process begins on September 16 and will end on October 6, 2023.

This recruitment drive will fill up 442 Managerial and Specialist posts. Read below for eligibility, selection process and other details.

1. Whereas post spot round, CUET left over seats were converted to NON CUET seats and vacancy was published college wise program wise.

2. Whereas the last date for receiving application in NON CUET mode was 11-09-2023

3. Colleges will fill the vacant seats of NON CUET (Round-1) by publishing a general merit list for applicants who applied till 11-09-2023 as per merit and availability of seats in a particular program.

4. Whereas after receiving several requests from the public domain and peripheral colleges, in the interest of general public and students, the last date for receiving application form for NON CUET candidates has been extended till 16-09-2023.

5. Colleges will fill the vacant seats of NON CUET (Round-2) by publishing a general merit list for applicants who applied up to 16-09-2023 as per merit and availability of seats in a particular program.

6. Colleges to ensure the preparation of a detailed counselling schedule keeping in view

the commencement of regular class work w.e.f 18-09-2023 and publish it on Samarth

Refund against Upgrade fee @2000 INR

1. Candidates are required to login to their Samarth admission account and fill the online application form for refund of upgrade fee.

2. Candidates to upload the account number information and upload a clear readable

front page of the passbook issued by the bank for crediting the refund amount. 3. Candidate to submit the online application form within the stipulated time.

4. Nodal College Jammu, Nodal College Srinagar shall refund fee after verifying the applicant’s form

Refund against seat cancellation

1. Candidate has to visit the college and submit an application with fee receipt

2. College will verify the application and initiate a refund as per college policy 3. College has to mark the status of refund on their admission portal.

4. For refund in case of double payment by student admission coordinators may contact Digital Initiative Cell of Higher Education

NOTE :: Refund of fee will be in accordance with the UGC guidelines 2023-24. Colleges may seek clarifications regarding refunds from the Digital Initiative Cell of Higher Education.

Srinagar, Sep 16 (KNO): Kashmir’s all-weather train, known as Vistadome coach, is all set to chug this November, which would give a further boost to the tourism industry here, officials said.

An official from Northern Railways told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Ministry of Railways has greenlit the deployment of the Vistadome coach train on the Baramulla to Banihal railway track.

“The announcement follows a successful trial run of the Vistadome coach, which has solidified its readiness for service,” the official said.

He said the Vistadome coach (train) is expected to start operating in November of this year, and it is sure to be a popular choice for travellers, who want to experience the best of Kashmir scenery.

“The introduction of the Vistadome coach is poised to boost Kashmir’s tourism industry significantly, as visitors and locals alike will find themselves on a comfortable and enjoyable journey through the heart of this picturesque valley. This innovative coach boasts extra-large glass windows, offering passengers uninterrupted views of Kashmir’s breathtaking landscapes,” he said.

“The ambient LED lighting adapts to the changing scenery, creating an enchanting atmosphere on board. However, the most remarkable feature is the rotatable seats, allowing travelers to pivot and immerse themselves in the captivating vistas outside,” the official added.

Additionally, an onboard GPS-based information system will keep passengers informed about the areas they traverse.” the official added—(KNO)

Srinagar, Sep 16 (KNO): A team of Anti-Corruption Bureau on Saturday arrested a traffic cop for taking bribe of Rs 9,000 in Sonamarg area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that ACB team raided traffic official post in Sonamarg today morning and caught red-handed a cop while taking bribe of Rs 9,000

The cop has been identified as Muhammad Ayoub, working as Selection Grade Constable in Jammu and Kashmir Traffic police—(KNO)

Declaration of the Result of Jammu & Kashmir Prosecuting Officer (G)
Examination, 2022.-deployment of candidates for Medical Examination thereof.

Notification No. 54-PSC (DR-S) of 2023
Dated : 15.09.2023

Whereas, the J&K Home Department, vide Communication No. No. PROS/45/2022-08-Home (CC.210225) dated 29.08.2022, referred 120 posts of Prosecuting Officers to the J&K Public Service Commission for filling up through the Competitive Examination; and,

Whereas, these posts were advertised by the Commission vide Notification No. 24-
PSC (DR-P) of 2022 dated: 03.10.2022; und,

Whereas, Prosecuting Officer (G) [Preliminary] Examination- 2022, was conducted on 29.01.2023 in which 2423 candidates appeared in full in the Examination; and,

Whereas, as per the criteria fixed by the Commission, a total of 821 candidates were declared to have qualified for the mains examination vide Notification No.
PSC/Exam/2023/10 dated: 27.03.2023; and,

Whereas, J&K Prosecuting Officer (G) [Mains] Examination-2022, was conducted from 31.05.2023 to 17.06.2023; and,

Whereas, as per the criteria fixed by the Commission, 341 candidates were declared to have qualified for interview vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/S/2023/36 dated: 02.08.2023; and,

Whereas. the Personality test (interview) of these candidates was conducted w.e.f
04.09.2023 to 15.09.2023 at JKPSC Office Solina, Srinagar; and,

Whereas) the Commission in its meeting held on 15.09.2023, decided to declare the result of the candidates who appeared in the interview and also to notify their aggregate marks while publishing a list of candidates to be summoned for Medical Examination in
accordance with the relevant rules.
Now9 therefore9 in pursuance of the provisions contained in S.O.41 dated: 08.02.2021,

J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules 2022 and J&K Reservation Rules, 2005 (SRO 294) :

i) The result of candidates, who appeared in the personality test (interview) of
J&K Prosecuting Officer (G) Examination-2022, is hereby notified as per
Annexure-I to this notification.
ii) Consequent upon (i) above, 117 candidates as per Annexure-II of this
notification on the basis of their aggregate merit in the written examination and personality test (interview),have provisionally qualified for Medical Examination and are directed to report to the respective Medical Board.
