Provisional Selection of the NEET UG candidates for admission to the MBBS/BDS Courses for the Academic Session 2023-24; Cancellation of provisional admission of Mr. Abrar Ahmed for undergoing MBBS course 2023 under PwD category in the GMC Udhampur thereof.

Notification No: 111-JKBOPEE of 2023. Dated: 07-11-2023.

Whereas, in order to conduct uniform entrance examination for admissions in all medical education institutions for under-graduate and post- graduate levels, the Medical Council of India (MCI), now NMC, in the year 2010, notified a single Entrance Examination for the candidates, namely, the National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test (NEET) to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)

2. Whereas, vide Public Notice dated 06-03-2023 issued by National Testing Agency, applications were invited from the candidates for appearing in the NEET, which was conducted on 07.05.2023. After declaration of the NEET-UG result by the National Testing Agency (NTA), New Delhi on 30.06.2023, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Goverment of India provided the result of the candidates belonging to the UT of J&K/Ladakh.who had appeared in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) to the JKBOPEE; and

3. Whereas, vide Notification No.035-BOPEE of 2023 dated 06.07.2023 JKBOPEE notified the Roll Number-wise list of the candidates of UT of J&K/Ladakh who have appeared in NEET-UG 2023 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA); and

4. Whereas, JKBOPEE vide Notification No.041-BOPEE of 2023 datod 15.07.2023 notified for the online registration of NEET-UG 2023 candidates belonging to UT of J&K/Ladakh, and

5 Whereas, the J&K BOPEE vide Notification No 045-BOPEE of 2023 dated 27.07.2023, issued the Provisional Merit List (PML) of NEET-UG- 2023 candidates belonging to UT of J&K and Ladakh and subsequently vide Notification No.048-BOPEE of 2023 dated 31.07.2023 notified the conduct of online counselling of eligible candidates of NEET-UG 2023 for filling up of online preferences and updated rank wise provisional merit list.

6. Whereas, vide Notification No. 057-BOPEE of 20023 dated 11.08.2023 JKBOPEE issued the Provisional Selection List of the eligible candidates for UT of J&K/Ladakh for NEET-MBBS/BDS Courses, 2023 and in the said Notification No. 057-BOPEE of 2023 dated 11.08.2023 it was clearly mentioned in Note para 1 and 2.

Srinagar, Nov 07 (KNO): At least 3 residential houses were gutted in a massive fire that broke out in Alochi Bagh area of Srinagar late last night, officials said on Tuesday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that fire broke out due to short-circuit in one of the houses.

He said that soon after the incident fire tenders reached to the spot to douse off the flames, however, by then the houses had suffered extensive damage.

The official said that there was no loss of life reported in the incident—(KNO)

It is for the information of all the candidates appearing for J&K Civil Services (Judicial) Main Examination, 2023 scheduled to be held w.e.f. 08.11.2023, that the Admit Cards shall be issued w.e.f. 3rd of November. 2023. Any candidate desirous of getting his/her optional subject/examination centre changed, may edit his online submitted application form by or before 20.10.2023.11.59 PM. After the expiry of said date, no request for any kind of change shall be entertained.

Controller of Examinations reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.

Note: Any request/representation for change of examination centre/ change of optional subject, sent through email etc. by a candidate on any of the official email-id’s of the Commission shall not be entertained.

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released the J and K Civil Services (Judicial) Main 2023 Examination schedule. As per the notification, the Main exam is scheduled to be conducted from November 8 to 20, 2023. The venue(s) of the examination shall be notified separately.

A total of 1162 candidates have been declared qualified to appear for the Main exam. The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 69 vacancies.

Filling up of the Reserved Vacancy in Class-IV Selection, earmarked for Persons with Disabilities (Sub-category of Deaf & Hard of Hearing), advertised vide Notification No. 01 of 2020 dated
26.06.2020.

Whereas, the J&K Services Selection Board, vide Notification No.
JKSSB/55/2022-05(E-7048574) dated 20.07.2023, notified the Final Selection List of the candidates for 80 Class-IV posts (now MTS), advertised vide Notification No. 01 of 2020
dated 26.06.2020, and earmarked under Horizontal Reservation for the Sub-category of Deaf & Hard of Hearing among the Persons with Disabilities (PwDs); and

Whereas, One (01) post for District Cadre, Srinagar, under OM/HCH category
(School Education Department), was kept reserved in compliance to the interim directions of the Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal, Srinagar, in O.A. No 39/2023 titled Mehak Ali
Makroo Vs General Administration Department. The said OA has finally been disposed off by the Hon’ble CAT, Srinagar, as under:

“After evaluating the materials on record, we regretfully find it difficult to sustain the pleas raised by the applicant. She did not avail the opportunity to verify the documents and therefore the
respondents could not ascertain the claims regarding the the raised by in the applicant qualifications notification or in the self-declaration made by her. The OA lacks merits and deserves to be dismissed'”

Whereas, the candidature of Ms. Sana Javid Bhat D/o Javid Hussain Bhat,
bearing Roll No. 261446224693, who was otherwise figuring against the said post, was kept reserved on account of the aforesaid case in the Hon’ble CAT, Srinagar; and

Whereas, in light of the above Orders of the Hon’ble CAT, Srinagar, the case
for filling up the reserved post was placed before the Board in its 241st meeting and the Board decided as under:
“The Board dellberated the proposal and having regard to the dismissal of the 0A No. 39/2023 titlted Mehak Ali Makroo Vs
General Administration Department by the Hon’ble CAT, Srinagar, decided to fill up the reserved vacancy for District Cadre, Srinagar under OM/HCH category (School Education Department) in the
selection notified for Class-IV posts vide Notification No. JKSSB/55/2022-05 (E-7048574) dated 20.07.2023 (Adv. 01 of 2020 by considering the candidature of Ms. Sana Javid Bhat D/o Javid.

Students can get the JKBOSE Class 12 date sheet 2024 by following the instructions below:

  • Go to the official website, jkbose.nic.in.

  • Put the pointer over “Student” in the menu bar. Then, click on “Examination” n

  • Select Jammu or Kashmir division by clicking on it.

  • The Class 12th date sheet will appear on the screen.

  • Click on ‘JKBOSE 12th date sheet 2024.’

  • JKBOSE Class 12 date sheet will start downloading. Take a print of the same and make a study plan accordingly

JKBOSE 12th Date Sheet 2024 – Exam Day Instructions

Along with the JKBOSE 12th date sheet 2024, the Jammu and Kashmir Board also the guidelines for the exam day. Read these important exam day instructions below and adhere to them strictly.

  • Students must arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the exam. They will have an additional 15 minutes to look through the question paper.

  • Mobile phones, calculators, and other electronic devices are completely forbidden in the examination hall, according to the JKBOSE 12th date sheet 2024.

  • It is not permitted for students to write anything on their JKBOSE Class 12 admit card 2024, not even with a pencil.

JKBOSE to conduct 10th to 12th standard exams from first week of March-2024 in soft zones

Results to be declared in second week of June-2024

Srinagar, Nov 06 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) Monday said that it will conduct annual regular exams of 10th to 12th standard from the first week of March-2024 for soft zones.

It also said that it will conduct the annual regular exams of hard zones of 10th to 12th standard from the second week of April-2024.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) Director Academics of JKBOSE in a communique has said that annual regular exams of 10th standard will be conducted from the second week of March-2024 in soft zones.

Similarly, the annual regular exams of 11th standard in soft zones will commence from the last week of March.

Likewise, the exams of 12th standard will begin from the first week of March 2024 respectively.

JKBOSE further said that it will conduct exams of hard and difficult zones of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh divisions from the second week of April-2024 for 10th and 12th standard and last week of April for 11th standard respectively.

According to the JKBOSE, for both hard and soft zones, it will announce results of 10th standard exams in the third week of June-2024, 11th standard results in the last week of June and results of 12th standard exams in the second week of June respectively.

Pertinently, the BOSE had identified 444 such schools in the both divisions of Jammu and Kashmir for which annual regular examinations will be held in the month of April instead of March.

Besides, the Board has also declared the whole Leh district of Union Territory of Ladakh as a hard zone and has accordingly directed to conduct the exams in the Month of April.

It had also said that the annual regular examination of hard zones or such areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh shall be held in the month of April—(KNO)

Srinagar, Nov 06 (KNO): The weatherman here on Monday asked the farmers to suspend their farm operations, predicting light rains and snowfall on November 09.

According to the details shared by the Director Meteorological department (MeT), Dr Mukhat Ahmad, the weather would remain mainly dry from November 07-November 15.

However, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), he said that there is a possibility of light rains over plains and light snow over the higher reaches including Razdan Pass, Sadhna Top, Sinthan Top, Zojila and Mughal Road on November 09, 2023.

On November 07, the weather would remain mainly dry while on November 08, there is a possibility of fairly to generally cloudy weather conditions with forecast of light rain over plains and light snow over few higher reaches.

He added that on November 10, the weather is expected to remain fairly to generally cloudy while the light rains and snow is also expected at isolated places in the morning hours.

As per the detailed forecast shared by Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, the weather conditions are expected to remain mainly dry during November 11-November 15.

He added that the minimum temperature will plummet during the period.

The MeT also issued an advisory, asking the farmers to suspend the farm operation during the period especially on November 09.

It further reads that the temporary disruption of surface transportation over the higher reaches due to slippery conditions is also expected and advised the people to plan their travel accordingly—(KNO)

Srinagar, Nov 06 (KNO): In a significant development, the administration of Jammu & Kashmir has appointed Union Territory level nodal officers for smooth conduct of Lok Sabha polls -2024.

As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the administration of the UT on Monday appointed 12 nodal officers to look into different areas/ issues for smooth conduct of the Lok Sabha polls. The appointments have been made after directives of Election Commission of India (ECI) on the matter.

The officer appointed as nodal officers include administrative secretary, Jal Shakti department (water and sanitation issues), administrative secretary, Housing & Urban Development department (local bodies), administrative secretary, Power Development Department (power), administrative secretary, Public Works Department (public works), administrative secretary, School Education department (education), administrative secretary, Social Welfare department (social welfare) Commissioner, Sales Tax (sales tax), Managing Director, J&K Regional Transport Corporation (transport), Commissioner, Excise Department (excise), Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (migrants), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, J&K Bank Limited (banks and financial institutions) and chairman and chief executive officer, J&K Bank Limited (SLBC convenor).

The Lok Sabha elections are likely to take place in April –May 2024. In the last Lok Sabha polls, NC and BJP won three seats each in J&K—(KNO)
