The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has recently released the Final Selection List for the Sub-Inspector, Police (Home Department) positions, as per Notification No. 01-Selection of 2024 dated 8th of January, 2024. This announcement follows a thorough process involving multiple stages, including initial notifications, medical examinations, and appeals before the Appellate Medical Boards.

The journey began with the initial advertisement vide Notification No. 06 of 2021 dated 21.10.2021 and Notice No. SSB/Secy//2021/7926-42 dated 24.11.2021. In the final selection list, 98 posts were initially reserved, including 69 candidates who were required to undergo medical examination and appeals before the Appellate Medical Boards.

Medical Examination and Appeals:
The 69 candidates, as part of the reserved posts, underwent medical examinations as per the Notice No. JKSSB-Scry/26/2023-03(E-7376857) dated 09.01.2023.
