Important Guidelines for NEET PG 2024 Exam Tomorrow

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 on Sunday, August 11, 2024. Registered candidates for the postgraduate medical entrance exam must report at the ‘Reporting Counter’ of their designated test venue according to the time specified on their admit cards. To prevent crowding at the entry of the test venue, staggered time slots have been allocated for candidates to report. It is crucial to note that the reporting counter will close 30 minutes before the test start time, allowing sufficient time for security checks, identity verification, and check-in procedures.

The schedule for NEET-PG 2024 is meticulously planned to ensure a smooth examination process. The test center will open for registration at 7:00 AM, and entry to the examination center will close at 8:30 AM. Candidate login access begins at 8:45 AM, followed by the reading of instructions at 8:50 AM. The exam itself is scheduled to commence at 9:00 AM and will conclude at 12:30 PM. It is essential for candidates to arrive on time as late arrivals may lead to disqualification from the exam.

Upon arrival at the test center, candidates will undergo strict identity checks to ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed to take the exam. Candidates must bring the following documents to the test center: a printed copy of their Barcoded/QR Coded Admit Card, a photocopy of their Permanent/Provisional SMC/MCI/NMC registration, which will be retained by the test center, and any one of the following valid government-issued photo IDs: PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, or Aadhaar Card (with photograph). The exam will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions, each having four response options/distractors, presented in English only. Candidates are required to select the correct or most appropriate response from the four options provided for each question. The total time allotted for the examination is 3 hours and 30 minutes, and candidates must manage their time efficiently to answer all the questions.

A 25% negative marking scheme will be applied for incorrect answers, while no marks will be deducted for unattempted questions. It is important to note that questions marked for review will still be evaluated according to the marking scheme, and candidates should carefully consider their responses before submitting the final answer.

The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has issued a notification (No: 1841 of 2024/RG/GS, Dated: 08/08/2024) inviting applications from eligible advocates for the posts of District Judges (Entry Level) in the High Court. These vacancies fall under the Jammu and Kashmir Higher Judicial Service Rules, 2009.
