Ishita Kishore, a former Air Force officer’s daughter, works for the international company Ernst and Young. Her mother used to work as a private school teacher, while her elder brother is a lawyer. She is the younger of two siblings. Ishita Kishore participated in the Subroto Cup in 2012 and had previously competed at the national level of football. At the Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) of Delhi University, she earned a degree in Economics with honours. She is from Uttar Pradesh and she cleared her UPSC examination by opting PSIR as her Optional.
She took part in a variety of extracurricular activities while she was in high school and college. She presided over Interact, a group sponsored by Rotary, and she participated in fictitious UN meetings at school events.
