Not invited first time since 2002: Aga Ruhullah as NC holds key meet in Srinagar

Denies plans to form separate political party, Slams NC on reservation issue, unkept election promises

Ganderbal, Nov 28 : Srinagar MP Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi on Thursday said that since 2002, this was the first time that he was not invited to the National Conference’s Central Working Committee meeting by the party leadership.

Speaking with reporters, Ruhullah, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that he was unaware as he doesn’t know which meeting is going on. “If the working committee meeting is going on, I am a permanent member of it. This is the first time since 2002 that I have not been invited,” he said.

Replying to query on reports of him flouting a political party, he said he has not distanced himself to build a separate political platform. “I have not kept a distance from any party, nor have I spoken to any anyone to form another party,” he said.

He also reiterated his disagreement with the National Conference on reservation issue and promises made during the 2024 Assembly elections.

“We made promises to the people that we will fight for the return of protections linked to Article 370. We received votes on that. We cannot switch to a different language after getting that mandate,” he said.

On reservation issue, Ruhullah said that students are losing opportunities due to delays. “More than a year has passed. If this matter remains unresolved after a month, I will again sit with the students until the issue is settled,” he said.

He also said that failure of mainstream parties to honour public trust would damage the entire political system. “If the party does not follow its own manifesto, it will lose people’s trust, and losing trust is the biggest loss,” he said—(KNO)

CBSE KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025: Important Notice Issued for 14,967 Vacancies

0

CBSE KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025: Important Notice Issued for 14,967 Vacancies

CBSE has recently issued an important notice concerning the ongoing 2025 recruitment drive under KVS and NVS. The notice highlights that many candidates are unable to proceed with their registration on the recruitment portal because, although they have selected a post, their educational qualification does not exactly match the required criteria for that post. Since the eligibility requirements vary between KVS and NVS even for posts with the same name, there are multiple qualification-dropdown options for each post — and choosing the wrong one can result in a mismatch.

In other words, CBSE is cautioning applicants to carefully read the detailed notification before applying — and specifically to double-check that they select the correct qualification from the dropdown corresponding to the post they intend to apply for. This is essential because failure to match the exact qualification will prevent moving ahead with registration, and CBSE has clarified that no relaxation or interpretation will be permitted.

Another concern addressed in the notice relates to payment issues on the portal. Some candidates reportedly faced difficulties where their payment transactions failed or did not get updated properly in the portal. CBSE has clarified that if a transaction didn’t go through or did not reflect on the portal, candidates will need to pay the application fee again. However, the earlier (failed) transaction amount will be refunded automatically to the candidate’s bank account within about a week.

As for the recruitment itself, this year’s drive under Recruitment Notification 01/2025 covers a total of 14,967 teaching and non-teaching positions across KVS and NVS. The detailed breakdown shows that for KVS there are 9,126 posts, while NVS has 5,841 vacancies — together forming a large-scale national-level hiring effort.

The posts include a wide variety of teaching and non-teaching roles — from Primary Teachers (PRTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Librarians to administrative and support staff roles. The application mode is fully online; candidates must register, fill out the application form, pay the requisite fee, submit — then download and retain the confirmation page for future reference.

Important dates for this recruitment have been clearly specified: the online application window opened on 14 November 2025, and the last date to apply is 4 December 2025. The examination dates (for Tier-1) for eligible candidates have been announced as 10 and 11 January 2026.

Given the scale of this recruitment — and the strict instructions from CBSE regarding eligibility and payment issues — candidates are being advised to read the official notification thoroughly. Ensure that you choose the correct qualifications in the registration dropdown, double-check all entered personal and academic details, and keep a close eye on payment status. This will help avoid registration failures or refund delays.

As per the official notice, the portal where candidates will have to register themselves for the recruitment process is not allowing them to proceed further because they do not meet the essential qualification criteria for the selected post.

The Board has informed that the qualifications for many posts in KVS & NVS are not similar, and there is a slight difference in qualifications, even if the post name is the same in both organisations. Due to this difference in qualification(s), there are multiple dropdowns of qualifications shown in the portal against each post.

CBSE has advised the candidates to read the notification thoroughly and then apply for the posts.

The other issue faced by candidates is regarding the payment updation on the portal or the refund of failed transactions. In such a case, if the transaction is not updated on the portal, candidates will have to pay the fee again, and the amount of the earlier transaction will automatically be refunded to your bank account within a week’s time.

KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025: How to register

To apply online, candidates can follow the steps given below.

1. Visit the official website of CBSE, NVS or KVS.

2. Click on KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025 application link available on the home page.

3. A new page will open where candidates will have to register themselves.

4. Once done, fill the application form and make the payment of application fee.

5. Click on submit and download the confirmation page.

6. Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

The recruitment process for KVS and NVS teaching and non-teaching posts commenced on November 14 and will conclude on December 4, 2025. This recruitment drive will fill up 14967 posts in the organisation. For more related details candidates can check the official website of CBSE.
