JEE Main, Advanced 2025 Counselling Process Begins On June 3, Check Details

JoSAA Counselling 2025: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the counselling schedule for admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and other government-funded technical institutions for the academic year 2025-26. The counselling process will begin on June 3 and will be held in five rounds. Those who have qualified JEE Main 2025 or JEE Advanced 2025, or are expected to qualify, will be eligible to participate.

The final round of counselling will be conducted specifically for IITs and NIT+ institutions. Students interested in architecture courses and who have cleared the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) will be able to access architecture-specific options after the AAT result is declared on June 8. The JEE Advanced 2025 result will be released by IIT Kanpur on June 2 at jeeadv.ac.in.

During the counselling process, candidates will be allowed to evaluate their preferences through two mock allotments before locking their final choices by June 12. The first round of seat allotment will be announced on June 14.

Who Can Apply?

Of the 8,33,536 candidates who appeared in JEE Main 2025, a total of 7,75,383 have qualified and are eligible for JoSAA counselling, provided they also clear JEE Advanced 2025.

The State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting applications to fill up several vacant positions under Circle based officers or CBOs. An official notification for the recruitment drive has been released at the official SBI website at sbi.co.in. Under this drive, the organization aims at filling up a total of 2964 vacancies. Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or hold an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India. Candidates with degrees in Medicine, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, or Cost Accountancy are also eligible.

Age limit (As of April 30, 2025)

  • Minimum age limit to apply: 21 years of age
  • Maximum age limit to apply: 30 years of age

Application fee

  • For candidates belonging to the General category: Rs 750
  • For candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwBD category: Nil

Candidates must have been born not later than 30.04.2004 and not earlier than 01.05.1995 (both days inclusive).

Selection Process

The final selection of candidates will be done based on three rounds, namely:

  • Online Test
  • Screening
  • Interview

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a starting basic pay of Rs 48,480, along with other allowances as per the prevailing norms.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially released the notification for the submission of offline Permission-cum-Examination Forms for the JKBOSE Class 10th and 12th Private Exam 2025 (Annual/Bi-Annual). The form submission process is applicable to re-appear, failure, improvement of performance, and fresh private candidates of UTs of J&K and Ladakh for both Soft and Hard Zone areas.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Fresh Private Candidates must be otherwise eligible.
  2. Re-appear/Failure Candidates from previous sessions can apply.
    • Candidates under reappear category must complete all compulsory subjects within five years.
  3. Candidates appearing for Additional/Optional Subjects, English only, or Completion category are also eligible.
  4. Improvement of performance candidates for Class 12th can apply as per norms.

Instructions for Submission

  • Forms are to be submitted offline at respective schools or JKBOSE offices.
  • Heads of institutions will charge ₹20 per form and ₹10 per candidate (institutional charges).
  • Disabled candidates (≥40% disability) are exempt from exam fee.
  • In case the last date falls on a holiday, the next working day will be considered.

JAMMU, May 28: The Home Department of the Jammu and Kashmir Government today ordered the adjustment of 25 Deputy Superintendents of the Police (DySPs) of the ministerial wing, who were earlier promoted to the current rank. Consequently, two DySPs of the ministerial wing were transferred.

As per an order, DySP Anamika Slathia was adjusted as Administrative Officer (ADO) DIG IR Jammu, Mohammad Amin Lone as ADO Tech Jammu, Bunti Kumari as ADO DIG Traffic Jammu, Mohammad Ramzan as ADO DIG IR Kashmir, Syed Bakir Shah as ADO RPHQ Anantnag, Mohammad Salim Malik as ADO SSG HQ, Manzoor Ahmad as ADO ZAPHQ Kashmir, Mahajabeen Akhtter as ADO DIG Armed Kashmir, Mohammad Muzzafar Bhat as ADO RPHQ Doda.

The order further said that DySP Abdul Rashid Lone has been adjusted as ADO RPHQ Baramulla, Hardeep Kour as ADO DPO Kathua, Farooq Ahmad Dar as ADO Crime HQ, Manzoor Ahmad Mir as ADO RPHQ Rajouri, Mushtaq Ahmad Dar as ADO DPO Kupwara, Abdul Majid Reshi as ADO Telecom HQ, Pardeep Kumar as ADO DPO Jammu, Manjeet Singh as ADO DIG Armed Jammu, Mohammad Syed Wani as ADO RPHQ Udhampur, Bashir Ahmad Bhat as ADO Security HQ, Neelam Sharma as ADO RPHQ Jammu., Mushtaq Ahmad Tantray as ADO SKPA Udhampur, Hissam-ud-Din Pir as ADO DPO Poonch.

Additionally, it has been ordered that DySP Mohammad Shafi has been adjusted in PHQ against the post of ADO DIG CID Jammu, Gul Mohammad in IR 10th Battalion against the post of ADO FSL and Mohammad Shafi Wani as ADO DPO Udhampur.

Consequent upon the adjustment of the officers, DySP Manzoor Ahmed, currently posted as ADO RPHQ Anantnag has been transferred and posted as ADO DPO Srinagar, and Nazir Ahmed Yatoo, currently posted in ADO J&K PHC has been transferred and posted as ADO PHQ.
