India Post GDS 2025: Third Merit List Released for All 23 Circles

India Post has officially released the third merit list for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) recruitment 2025, covering all 23 circles across the country. This includes Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, North East, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal. Candidates who have been eagerly waiting for further updates can now check if their names appear in the latest list of shortlisted applicants.

Shortlisted candidates from this round must complete document verification by June 3, 2025. According to India Post, candidates are required to visit the office of the divisional head mentioned against their name in the merit list. They must bring the original copies of all relevant documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies for submission. Failing to appear with the correct documentation within the stipulated time may result in disqualification from the selection process.

To check the India Post GDS 3rd merit list 2025, candidates should visit the official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Scroll down to the ‘GDS Online Engagement Schedule-I, January-2025 Shortlisted Candidates’ section under the ‘Candidate’s Corner’. Click the + button to expand the list of states/circles. Choose the circle where you submitted your application and click on the 3rd merit list link. You can then download the PDF and search for your name using your registration number.

  4. Select the circle for which you applied and then click on the 3rd merit list link.
  5. Download the merit list and check your result using the registration number.

Says 17,000 Govt teachers yet to receive B.ed training

Srinagar, May 19 (KNO): Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) G N Itoo Monday said that the methodology was the basic challenges for the department at primary and middle class levels.

Speaking to reporters, DSEK as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said, “The basic challenges of our primary and middle level classes is methodology.”

“It is that stage of learning wherein we have to retain the learner and have to develop a creativity and intrest among the students,” itoo said.

He further said, “In future as per the NEP, we are supposed to teach the students in mother tongue to develop their overall personality and creativity.”

DSEK said, “Today we interacted with those government school teachers who were undergoing through the B.ed program and in order to see the effectiveness of the program at ground, I believe this will definitely replicate in the classrooms and that is why we named it as Education In Action.”

About the government teachers who were yet to receive B.ed course, Itoo said, “There are nearly 17,000 teachers who are yet to receive B.ed courses. However, the teachers are being trained gradually trained in different colleges as well as universities.”

He also said, “Under the B.ed program, the teachers are being trained so that they can give students a best and quality education as well as the moral education.”

“Under the New Education Policy (NEP) whatever has been instituted, be it the inclusive education or the gap between the practical and theory, the teachers are being trained in accordance to it,” DSEK said—(KNO)

Srinagar, May 19 (JKNS): The office of Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL informed that the shutdown for 33 kV GIS Tengpora Grid Exhibition Tapline (Allochibagh bund Portion), 33 KV GIS Tengpora KP Bagh Line and 33 KV TRC Rajbagh Line/ KP Bagh Rajbagh line (Sr. No. 07, 08 & 09) on 20th of May 2025, stands cancelled.

Also, the shutdown approved for 33 kV Pampore Badambagh Line (Sr. No. 14) on 20th of May 2025 may also be treated as cancelled in order to facilitate smooth operation of PHE WSS Tangnar affected due to an outage of power supply during the intervening night of 18th & 19th of May 2025 due to gusty winds.
