Bank of India Recruitment 2025: Good news for those interested in getting a job in the Banking sector. Bank of India has begun an application process for the Officer positions. Interested and Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of Bank of India at bankofindia.co.in. This recruitment drive is aimed at filling 159 positions in the organization.

The registration process for the vacant posts has been started on March 8 and the application window will open till March 23, 2025. Read below for eligibility, selection process and other details.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT/ECE) or MCA, MBA (for Fintech), Ph.D. (for Economist)
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years in relevant field
  • Age Limit: 28 to 45 years

Selection Process

The selection process consists of an online test and/or personal interview, depending upon the number of applicants/eligible candidates. The online test will consist of questions from English Language, Professional Knowledge, and General Awareness. A total of 150 questions will be asked and the time duration will be 120 minutes.

All the above tests except the English Language test will be available in bilingual form, i.e. English and Hindi. The English Language test will be qualifying in nature, i.e. marks obtained in English Language will not be added while preparing the merit list. The minimum qualifying marks in English Language Test, Professional Knowledge Test and General Awareness will be 35% for General/EWS candidates.

There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the objective tests. For each question wrongly answered by the candidate, one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

Middle Management Grade Scale-II – Rs 64,820 to Rs 93,960 per month
Middle Management Grade Scale-III – Rs 85,920 to Rs 1,05,280 per month
Senior Management Grade Scale-IV – Rs 1,02,300 to Rs 1,20,940 per month

CUET PG Exam Admit Card 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for the Common University Entrance Test – Postgraduate (CUET PG 2025). Candidates can download the admit card by visiting the official website, exams.nta.ac.in. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from March 13 to April 1. The exam will be 90 minutes long, conducted in three shifts, and will cover 157 subjects.

187 Vacant Posts at GMC Rajouri; No New NTPHC Upgradations in J&K: Minister

Srinagar, Mar 08 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday said that 65 gazetted and 122 non-gazetted posts remain vacant at Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri.

Responding to a question from MLA Budhal, Javid Iqbal Choudhary, Minister for Health and Medical Education Sakina Itoo said the sanctioned strength of gazetted posts at GMC Rajouri is 119, out of which 55 positions are currently filled, leaving 64 vacant. She said that out of the 415 sanctioned non-gazetted posts, 293 are in position, while 122 remain vacant.

“All vacant teaching faculty posts have been referred to the J&K Public Service Commission (J&KPSC) for advertisement and selection of suitable candidates. The vacant positions are regularly filled on an academic arrangement basis in terms of SO 364 of 2020, dated 27.11.2020, to address faculty shortages in various disciplines. Regarding non-gazetted vacancies, the matter is under active consideration within the department,” Itoo said.

Responding to a question from MLA Zainapora, Showkat Ganaie, the minister informed that J&K currently has 554 NTPHCs (New Type Primary Health Centres) operating across the Union Territory. She, however, said no new creations or upgradations are planned at present.

The minister said J&K is focusing on consolidating its existing healthcare facilities, given that more than 4,200 health institutions at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels already exist.

According to a report by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, J&K ranks among the top regions in the country in terms of healthcare institution density.

“Future creations or upgradations will be considered once the austerity measures imposed under Government Order No. 17-F of 2024, dated 15.01.2024, are withdrawn. To address critical gaps, the department aims to strengthen the existing healthcare facilities in accordance with Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) norms. Efforts are also being made to expand e-Sanjeevani and telemedicine services through a well-designed hub-and-spoke model,” Itoo said.

The minister said that the Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) serve as benchmarks for the creation and upgradation of health facilities. While IPHS 2012 was previously in use, the current standard is IPHS 2022, which serves as the primary guideline for any future healthcare infrastructure development, she added.

Responding to a query from MLA Pattan, Javid Riyaz regarding the staffing situation in the Health Department in Pattan constituency, the health minister said that out of 171 sanctioned positions, 139 are currently filled, while 32, including two gazetted and 30 non-gazetted posts, remain vacant—(KNO)

JKBOSE registers 37 unfair-means cases in one day

Jammu, Mar 8 (GNS): Continuing its inspection drive to enforce discipline in the conduct of the examinations, the JKBOSE officials have framed unfair-means cases against 37 erring students today.

The Board had constituted 40 teams, which fanned over across the length and breadth of the union territory for guarding integrity of the examinations and ensuring a strict check over the invigilation staff.

The Board had asked the School Education department also to constitute vigilance teams to supplement the efforts of the Board in ensuring transparency in the examinations.

The BOSE has cautioned the centre superintendents to be extra cautious in discharging their duties and help the Board in the conduct of the smooth and transparent examinations.(GNS)
