Commercial LPG cylinder prices hiked by Rs 16.5, domestic remained unchanged
New Delhi, Dec 1: Oil marketing companies have raised the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders with immediate effect.
The rate of 19 KG commercial LPG gas cylinders has been increased by Rs 16.50 with effect from today.
In Delhi, the retail sale price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder is Rs 1,818.50 from today. Prices of 5 KG Free Trade LPG cylinders have also increased by Rs 4.
Prices of 14.2 KG domestic cylinders remain unchanged.
Last month too, the rates of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder were increased, by Rs 62.
These price adjustments are expected to impact commercial establishments and small businesses that rely heavily on LPG for their operations.
The revision comes as part of a broader trend in fuel price adjustments in response to changing global market conditions, seen in recent days due to volatile international order.
This price revision will directly impact restaurants, hotels, and other commercial establishments that utilise these cylinders for daily operations.

Govt fixes Minimum Age for Nursery/Balvatika Admissions (3+ Years) with 30th November as the Cut-off Date in J&K
According to an official order issued by School education department reads, The department has received many representations regarding the fixation of a deadline for calculating the minimum prescribed age for children seeking admission in Nursery/Balvatika, given the restoration of the November-December academic calendar in the Kashmir division and winter zones of the Jammu division.
The issue has been examined in light of the provisions of the National Education Policy-2020 (NEP-2020), which stipulates that a child entering Nursery/Balvatika/Pre-school/Anganwadi should be above 3 years of age.
With the restoration of the November-December academic session in the Kashmir division and winter zones of the Jammu division, it has become imperative to fix a deadline for calculating the minimum age of a child, compliant with the provisions of the National Education Policy-2020.
In light of the above, the date for reckoning the minimum age of the child shall be 30th November of the year in which admission is sought/granted in the Kashmir division and winter zones of Jammu division of the School Education Department, for admission in Nursery/Balvatika/Pre-school/Anganwadi.
Accordingly, all the educational institutions working in the Kashmir division and winter zones of the Jammu division are directed to adhere strictly to these guidelines to ensure a hassle-free admission process, reads the order.
