Foreign Medical Graduate Exam December 2024 Registration Ends On November 17, Check Details

FMGE December 2024 registration: The admit card for the exam will be released on January 8, and the examination will be conducted on January 12.

FMGE December 2024: The online application process for the December session of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is set to close on November 18. Those who have not yet applied can register on the official website. Applicants must pay a fee of Rs 6,195 (Rs 5,250 fee + Rs 945 for 18% GST). The admit card for the exam will be released on January 8, and the examination will be conducted on January 12. Results will be declared by February 12.

The FMGE question paper will consist of 300 multiple-choice questions. The exam will be held in two sessions, with each session containing 150 questions. Each session will last 150 minutes.

High Court of J&K and Ladakh Recruitment 2024, Exam Date, Admit Card

The FMGE exam will include multiple timed sections for each part of the question paper. For example, if there are three sections (A, B, and C), each will have 50 questions, with 50 minutes allocated per section.

Srinagar, Nov 17: Amid increasing incidents of road accidents, the Traffic Police rural has warned the guardians and owners of the vehicles not to allow their minor children to drive two or four-wheelers, failing which an imprisonment for 3 years with a fine of Rs 25000 shall be imposed.

In the recent past, a number of minors driving two- wheelers and four-wheelers lost their lives in deadly road accidents in Srinagar and other parts of the Kashmir valley, prompting the traffic police to take measures.

The traffic police directed guardians and owners of the vehicles not to allow their minor children to drive scooters or four-wheelers, failing which a punitive imprisonment for 3 years and a fine of Rs 25000 shall be charged, Senior Superintendent of Police Traffic Rural Kashmir Rajinder Pal Singh said.

On Saturday, more than 3000 vehicles, including two-wheelers, were seized by the traffic police in Srinagar for violating the traffic norms.

The advisory stated that all school authorities, private coaching institutions, and parents are advised not to allow students or minor children to drive two- or four-wheelers, as this trend has claimed many precious lives so far seized and has to be curbed in order to avoid further obliteration.

“Allowing a minor to drive a vehicle is a serious offence and warrants punitive action under Section 199A M.V. Act 1988 against the guardian of the juvenile or owner of motor vehicle,” the advisory reads.

It has also directed that the registration of the vehicles used in the commission of the offence shall be cancelled for a period of twelve months.–(UNI)

As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), almost ten inches of snowfall accumulated at Sadhna Top, Sinthan Top, Z Gali and Razdan Top today.

The details gathered by KNO further reveal that the main Gulmarg also experienced the season’s first snowfall today where nearly three inches of snowfall accumulated till this evening. Pir ki Gali has also received a snowfall of six inches while Sonamarg received a snowfall of four inches.

The fresh snowfall was experienced under the influence of a Western Disturbance. Besides, the rains lashed multiple areas including the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, bringing down the mercury further across J&K.

As per the details shared by the local Meteorological department, there is a forecast of dry weather conditions for the next one week.

A local Meteorological department (MeT) has predicted generally cloudy weather with the possibility of light rain and snow over higher reaches at many places of Kashmir & few places of Jammu division till tomorrow afternoon.

Director MeT, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad stated there is a possibility of generally dry weather from November 17th to 23rd. He also said that amidst cloudy weather, the light rain and snow over higher reaches at isolated places are expected on November 24.
