UGC NET December 2023 Subject-wise Examination Schedule Released, check details

UGC NET December 2023 : National Testing Agency, NTA has released the subject-wise examination schedule for the UGC NET December 2023. The detailed schedule is available on the official website of NTA at nta.ac.in.

The notification regarding the intimation of the city examination centre will be released on the UGC NET and NTA website 10 days before the examination.

The UGC NET December 2023 examination for English and History will be conducted on December 6 in shift 1 and shift 2, respectively. The exam for the commerce subject will be held on December 7 in shift 1 and the exam for computer science and application will be conducted on December 7 in shift 2. The Public Administration and Philosophy examination will be held on December 8 in shift 2. The exam for Political Science will take place on December 11 in shift 1 and for Hindi, the exam will be held on December 11 in shift 2.

The Geography, sociology and Mass Communication exam will be held on December 12. Candidates can check the detailed exam schedule below:

UGC NET December 2023 examination schedule 

The written examination for the UGC NET December 2023 will be conducted from December 6 to December 22, 2023. The examination will be conducted in two shifts- first shift from 9 am to 12 pm and second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. The UGC NET 2023 result will be announced on January 10, 2024.

SBI Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should have graduated in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before December 31, 2023.

Srinagar, November 17(GNS): Firing resumes between militants and security forces after night lull in Samno area of DH pora area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday.

A top police officer told GNS that operation was suspended throughout night and has been resumed with the first light of this morning.

Yesterday, fierce gunfight erupted between militants and security forces in Samno after forces recieved specific input about the presence of some militants in the area.

Till this report was being filed, no militant was killed yet. More details will follow.(GNS)

JKBOSE New Job Roles notification in Vocational Subjects for Class 9th and Class 11th

JKBOSE New Job Roles  Notification; It is hereby notified for information of all the concerned Students, Principals/Heads of the Govt. High and Higher Secondary Institutions, where vocational subjects are being taught as the additional/Optional at High School level (Classes 9th and 10th) and one of the Elective subject at Higher Secondary level (Classes 11th and 12th), that:

1. Some changes in name of job roles/qualification of some trades in case of vocational subjects for classes 9th and 11th have been made that will be implemented for the session 2023-24, as per the following.

4. The scheme of assessment revised last year for class XI and XII (vocational subjects only) and adopted last year for class XI (session 2022-23) shall now be continued for class XII this session (2023-24) like

a. External Assessment l.e. written test (theory) and

b. Practical examinations to be conducted by External Assessment agencies l.e Sector Skill Councils (SSCs

The aforesaid changes have been implemented with the aim of enhancing the quality of assessment and providing a more comprehensive evaluation of candidates’ knowledge, skills, and competencies. They are designed to enhance the learning experience, align with current educational trends, and equip the students with the most relevant and up-to-date knowledge.

Pursuant to Notification No. 115-BOPEE of 2023 dated 09.11.2023, read with other Notifications/Notices issued by the Board on the subject, the physical round of counselling of eligible candidates who had appeared for B.Ed. Entrance Test -2023 in Government College of Education, Canal Road Jammu was conducted on 13-11-2023 at BOPEE office Jammu/ Srinagar simultaneously.

The Board had not issued the Provisional Selection List for admission to B.Ed. courses 2023 in Government College of Education, Canal Road Jammu due to the reason that the approval for session 2023-24 of this Institutions has not been granted by National Council of Teacher Education

(NCTE) Govt. of India which has now been approved by the Competent Authority vide above referred letter subject to conditions laid in the said communication.

The list of the candidates who have participated in the counselling and have been selected provisionally for admission to B.Ed. Courses-2023 in the Government College of Education, Canal Road Jammu as per their merit cum preferences is hereby notified as per the Annexure “A” to this Notification which is available on website of the Board www.jkbopee.stov.in only. The provisionally selected candidates are advised to report to the allotted College upto 22-11-2023 (04:00 p.m.) w.e.f. the date of issuance of this Notification along with following documents:

(i) Qualifying Marks Certificate (10+2+3) as per NCTE guidelines;

(ii) Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K / Ladakh (for candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent Authority of UT of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate);

Traffic plan and advisory for November 17

TRAFFIC POLICE HEADQUARTERS, J&K, JAMMU/SRINAGAR
1. From 15-11-2023, 1700 hrs. to 16-11-2023, 1700 hrs., there was slow movement observed on NH-44 due to breakdown of HMVs and poor surface condition of road at Dalwas and single lane traffic at Cafeteria-Mehad, Magerkote, Nachlana between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel.

2. Passengers/LMVs operators are advised to prefer journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW during day time. Please avoid journey during night hours as movement of nomads from Kashmir valley towards Jammu may cause inconvenience to the commuters.

3. HMVs Operators/Owners are requested to desist from overloading and carry sufficient fuel during journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. It is further requested that vehicle owners must double check the fitness of their vehicles and carry sufficient fuel before undertaking journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW.
4. HMVs with only 06 and 10 tyres shall be allowed to ply through Dhar road.

TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 17-11-2023:-
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, LMVs Passenger/Private Cars/HMVs/Load Carriers shall be allowed from both sides on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) viz Jammu towards Srinagar and vice-versa. Commuters are advised to follow lane discipline.

SFs Convoy Movement:-
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, Security Forces vehicles shall be allowed from both sides on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44) viz Jammu towards Srinagar and vice-versa.

SSG ROAD
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, vehicular movement on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road shall be allowed from both sides viz Srinagar towards Kargil and vice-versa. LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Minamarg towards Srinagar between 0730 hrs. to 1100 hrs. Similarly, LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Sonamarg towards Kargil between 1300 hrs to 1700 hrs. No vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timings.
*SFs Convoy, plying from Srinagar to Kargil, shall leave Srinagar at 0800 hrs. SFs Convoy plying from Drass to Srinagar shall plan their movement in such a manner so that Civil Traffic doesn’t get disturbed.*

Mughal Road:-
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, vehicular movement on Mughal road shall be allowed from both sides viz. Poonch towards Shopian and vice versa. These vehicles shall be allowed from Behramgalla (Buffliaz) and Herpora (Shopian) between 0600 hrs. to 1800 hrs. No vehicle shall be allowed after cut of timings
