Aspirants seek postponement of Aganwadi Supervisor post exam on June 23

Srinagar, June 03: Scores of aspirants have urged the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board to postpone the examination scheduled on June 23 for the post of Aganwadi supervisor post in the Social Welfare department.

A delegation of aspirants told Rising Kashmir that the examination be postponed for at least a month so that they are better prepared.

Tabasum, one of the aspirants stated that they should be given at least one month to prepare and have a chance to qualify the exam.

The aspirants expressed shock over the notification being issued for examination. “I was shocked. How can JKSSB do this to us? We are freshers and haven’t even completed half of the syllabus. We need more time to prepare,” she said.

Tawakeela Farooq, another concerned aspirant added, “We filed our forms in March, and our syllabus is vast. We can’t cover it in such a short time.”

The aspirants said that they submitted their forms in March but have not had sufficient time to prepare for the exam since then.

They urged the JKSSB to consider their situation and grant an extension of at least one month to ensure a fair chance at success. (Rising Kashmir)

Srinagar, Jun 03 (KNO): Amidst the hot and dry weather conditions across Jammu & Kashmir, the weatherman here has predicted light rains from Tuesday, saying that a relief is expected from the scorching heat till June 08.

Director Meteorological department (MeT), Dr Mukhtar Ahmad told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the rains are expected to put an end to the prevailing hot and dry weather conditions in Jammu and Kashmir.

However, he said that no major relief is expected in the plains of Jammu and despite the possibility of light rains; the maximum temperature would continue to settle around 40 degree Celsius.

He added that with the possibility of the gusty winds, the plains as well as the higher reaches of Kashmir would receive the light rains and stated that the Jammu higher reaches will also receive rainfall from tomorrow afternoon.

The wet spell is expected to continue from June 04 to June 08 while the hot and dry weather conditions are expected from June 09 to June 13,” he said.

To apply for the JK Labour Card Scholarship 2024 students need to follow the simple procedure given below:-

  1. Visit the Official Website https://jkbocw.gov.in/
  2. Click on the option called New Registration Option given on the Homepage.
  3. Fill all of the required details such as Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
  4. Enter the captcha code
  5. Click the “Register” option.
  6. Now log in using your credentials amd Click on Application Form option.
  7. Fill im the Application Form
  8. Click on “Save & Continue
  9. Upload all the required documents.
  10. Click on “Final Submission’’
  11. The application form will be successfully submitted.
