Online applications are invited from eligible candidates with effect trom 1 June,2023 to 21st June,2023 for seeking admission in Government/ Private is of UT JKLadakh, for the academic session 2023-24/25 in various Engineering/Non Engineering trades having duration of two years/one year/six months being run under NCVT/SCVT schemes. However, forms can be uploaded from 1 June,2023.

The Academic session shall commence from 25th September, 2025. Candidates having minimum age of 14 years as on 1 June 2023, with no Upper age bar (except Driver Cum Mechanic (LMV) trade for which minimum age is 16 years) can apply. The desirous candidates have to fill up the admission forms

also present on the official website of Directorate of Skill Development (erstwhile

The details pertaining to the trades functioning in various Government/Private
ITİs for which admissions are to be made for the session 2023-24/25 under normal

the concerned ITIS.

The candidates have to fill up the complete details which include basic details
of the student like name, parentage, qualification etc onine in the portal and have to upload the soft copy of the following documents on the portal:

1. Marks Certificate of qualifying examination.
2. Date of Birth Certificate.
3. Category Certificate (SC/ST/EX-serviceman/ EWS/Physically Handicapped) if anv.

Temp Rises Amid Forecast For Dry Weather In J&K

Srinagar, Jun 4 (GNS): Amid forecast for mainly dry weather, temperature recorded a rise at most places in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

A meteorological department official here told GNS that Srinagar recorded a low of 10.4°C against 9.8°C on the previous night and it was below normal by 2.1°C for the summer capital.

Qazigund, he said, recorded a low of 8.4°C against 8.2°C on the previous night and it was below normal by 2.7°C for the gateway town of Kashmir.

Pahalgam, he said, recorded a low of 4.0°C against 5.1°C on the previous night and it was 2.6°C below normal for the famous tourist resort in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

In Kupwara town, he said, the mercury settled at 8.2°C against 9.5°C on the previous night and it was 2.8°C below normal for the north Kashmir area.

Kokernag recorded a low of 8.5°C against 8.1°C on the previous night and it was 2.6°C below normal for the place, the officials said.

Gulmarg recorded a low of 3.6°C against 3.2°C on previous night and it was below normal by 4.0 °C for the world famous skiing resort in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, he said.

Jammu recorded a low of 21.0°C against 18.6°C on the previous night and it was 4.5°C below normal for J&K’s winter capital, he said.

Banihal recorded a low of 11.3°C (below normal by 1.4°C), Batote 14.0°C (1.0°C below normal), Katra 18.7°C (3.1°C below normal) and Bhaderwah 9.5°C (below normal by 2.1°C). Ladakh’s Leh recorded a low of 6.2°C, he said.

From June 4-12, he said, the weather is going to be mainly dry but a brief spell of showers and thunderstorm can’t be ruled out. (GNS)

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Sinha announced this during his visit to the Beerwah area of the district.

Addressing a gathering, the LG said, “I want to inform the people of Budgam that the campus of Kashmir Cluster University will be setup in here’l

Sinha said that the administration has identified the land for it. “We are trying to complete the process and I hope, very soon, we will start its work.”

On the occasion, the LG also said that in Budgam, 24 major educational projects were completed with a cost of Rs 37 Crores and 18 projects with Rs 92 Crores in health care system

ICF Vacancy 2023: Integral Coach Factory Chennai has issued a recruitment notification. According to which recruitment is going to be done on the post of bumper in ICF. Through this campaign, recruitment will be done for the post of apprentice. While 12th pass candidates and candidates selected as ex-ITI candidates will be given a stipend of Rs 7,000 per month. The stipend will be increased by 10% in the second year of training and by 15% in the third year.

Provisional Selection List of the candidates for the posts of Motor Vehicle Inspectors, Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors and Sub-Motor Vehicle Inspectors (Transport Department), UT, Divisional Cadre, Jammu/Kashmir, Item Nos. 86, 88, 89, 90, 92, 93 and 94, advertised vide Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 06.12.2020.

Whereas, the Transport Department, vide Indent No. TR-09/SMG/2015 dated 29.09.2020, followed by No.TR-09/SMG/2015 dated 03.12.2020, forwarded the requisition for making direct recruitment to the following 33 posts of Motor Vehicle Inspectors, Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors and

As sufficient number of candidates could still not be available, the Board conducted additional DV both at Jammu Division & Kashmir Division
w.e.f. 09.05.2023 to 10.05.2023, which was followed by the Supplementary DV on 19.05.2023.; and

Whereas, out of these posts, the Selection Process for the post of Motor Vehicle Inspectors Division Kashmir/Jammu is sub-judice in O.A. No.1347 of 2022 titled Monty Kangotra and Another V/s Union
Territory of J&K and Others wherein the Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal, Jammu has passed the interim directions on 27.10.2022, the operative of which is reproduced below:

“In the meantime, it is made clear that selection process under challenge in this OA shall be subject to outcome of this OA.”
Thus, the aforementioned litigation/interim directions does-not refrain the Board from notifying the Provisional Selection List, which shall, of-course be subject to these directions/any other directions of the Hon’ble Courts; and

Whereas, the Provisional Selection for these 33 posts so prepared as per the eligibility & merit-cum-preference of the candidates and having regard to the extant rules/regulations was placed in 227th Board meeting held on 22.05.2023, which after due deliberations and consideration of the matter, approved its noti cation.

Now therefore, the Provisional Selection List of candidates for the 33 posts of Motor Vehicle Inspectors, Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors and Sub-Motor Vehicle Inspectors (Transport Department), UT, Divisional Cadre, Jammu/Kashmir, Item Nos. 86, 88, 89, 90, 92, 93 and 94, advertised vide Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 06.12.2020 is hereby notified as per Annexure-A to this notification. It is further ordered that:

(i) The Provisional Selection List shall be subject to outcome of O.A. No.1347 of 2022 titled Monty Kangotra and Another V/s Union Territory of J&K and Others and other writ petition(s)/application(s), if any, pending adjudication before any competent court of law.

(ii) The Provisional Selection List shall also be subject to the outcome of any pending enquiry, involving candidate(s),  guring in this Selection List.

In case any candidate/s is aggrieved with this Provisional Selection List, he/she may represent through the email address [email protected] within seven days from
the date of its Notification, beyond which no representations shall be entertained. The e-mail in this regard shall necessarily include complete details of the candidate including Name, Address, Roll Number and Contact Number.
