JKSSB Provisional Selection List for the posts of Draftsman (Civil), advertised under Item No. 05 (Divisional Cadre, Jammu) and Item No. 06 (Divisional Cadre, Kashmir) of Jal Shakti Department, vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2023 dated 11.04.2023.
Whereas, the Jal Shakti Department vide indent No. 28166 35D- NGJ02/2/2021 dated 08.02.2023, among other posts, forwarded the requisition for making direct recruitment to the 105 posts of Draftsman (Civil), as per the following break up
Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) advertised the aforesaid 105 posts among other posts of Jal Shakti Department vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2023 dated 11.04.2023 and the cut-off date, ie., the last date for applying for the aforementioned posts and for determining the eligibility/academic qualification and validity of category certificates and other such
documents of the candidates which may be required as per indent was 23.05.2023; and
Whereas, as per the Notification, the selection to these posts was to be made on the basis of Written Examination only and, accordingly, the JKSSB conducted the OMR Based Test for these posts on 24.09.2023 and, thereafter the JKSSB notified result of candidates for the said posts vide Notification No. JKSSB/COEDEXAM(UT)/64/2023-03(7263602) dated 08.10.2023; and
Whereas, on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates, the Document Verification was conducted vide Document verification Notice No. JKSSB/COEDEXAM(UT)/64/2023-03(7263602) dated 12.10.2023, from 16.10.2023 to 19.10.2023, both at Jammu and Srinagar, by the DV Committees constituted vide Order No. 224-SSB of 2023 dated 13.10.2023, followed by the Supplementary DV which was conducted vide Notification No. conducted vide Notification No. 3K558/COE0EXAM(UT)/64/2023-03(7263602) dated 20.10.2023 on 25.10.2023; and
Whereas, a Selection Committee for preparing the selection to the aforementioned posts was constituted vide Order No. No.228-558 of 2023 dated 13.10.2023: and
Whereas, keeping in view the afore-stated facts, the selection committee prepared the Provisional Selection list, which was placed before the Board in its 245th Board Meeting held on 15 November, 2023, which, after due deliberations, approved the same for its notification. Now, therefore:
The Provisional Selection List for the posts of Draftsman (Civil), advertised under Item No. 05 (Divisional Cadre, Jammu) and Item No. DG (Divisional Cadre, Kashmir) of Jal Shakti Department, vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2023 dated 11.04.2023, is hereby notified as Annexure-A to this Notification.
The Provisional Selection List shall be subject to the outcome of writ petition(s)/OAS, if any, pending in any Court of Law of the competent jurisdiction.
The List shall also be subject to the outcome of pending inquiry, if any,involving candidate(s), figuring in this Selection List.
