JKBOSE UFM Committee Notice 2025: Class 10th & 12th Students to Appear on December 27 and 29

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued an important notification for students of Class 10th (SSE) and Class 12th (HSE-II) who appeared in the Annual Regular Examinations (October–November 2025) and are alleged to have used Unfair Means (UFM) during the examination process.

As per the official notice, JKBOSE has provided the concerned candidates an opportunity to present themselves before the UFM Committee for scrutiny and disposal of their cases. The hearings have been scheduled on December 27, 2025, for Class 10th candidates and December 29, 2025, for Class 12th candidates.

What Is the JKBOSE UFM Notice About?

The notification pertains to students whose roll numbers have been flagged by JKBOSE for alleged misconduct or use of unfair means during the board examinations. Instead of taking a unilateral decision, the Board has decided to follow due process by allowing students to explain their case in person.

This step reflects JKBOSE’s commitment to fairness, transparency, and natural justice, ensuring that no student is penalized without being heard.

Important Dates and Schedule

JKBOSE has clearly mentioned the date, time, and venue for the hearings:

Class 10th (SSE) Candidates

  • Date: 27 December 2025 (Saturday)
  • Time: 11:00 AM
  • Venue: Office Chambers of Joint Secretary,
    Secrecy/UFM Kashmir Division,

Class 12th (HSE-II) Candidates

  • Date: 29 December 2025 (Monday)
  • Time: 11:00 AM
  • Venue: Same as above

Candidates must report on time, as late arrival may affect the consideration of their case.

Roll Numbers Listed in the Notification

The official notice contains a comprehensive list of roll numbers of Class 10th and Class 12th candidates who are required to appear before the UFM Committee. Students are strongly advised to check the notification carefully to confirm whether their roll number appears in the list.

Only the candidates whose roll numbers are mentioned are required to attend the hearing. No separate call letters or personal intimation will be issued by JKBOSE.

Mandatory Documents to Carry

Candidates appearing before the UFM Committee must carry:

  • Original Admit Card of the concerned examination
  • Any supporting explanation or clarification relevant to their case

Failure to produce the admit card may lead to complications during verification.

What Happens If a Candidate Does Not Appear?

JKBOSE has clearly warned that non-appearance before the UFM Committee on the scheduled date will have serious consequences. If a candidate fails to appear:

  • The case will be decided ex-parte
  • The decision will be based solely on available records and evidence
  • No further claim, appeal, or representation will be entertained later

Therefore, candidates are strongly advised not to miss the hearing.

Instructions for Centre Superintendents

Apart from students, JKBOSE has also directed the Superintendents of Examination Centres No. 101030 and 136015 (Class 10th) to attend the UFM Committee proceedings on December 27, 2025. Their presence is required to help resolve cases related to their respective centres.

This step ensures accountability at both student and centre levels.

  3. Reach the venue early to avoid last-minute issues
  4. Cooperate fully with the UFM Committee
  5. Follow all instructions issued by JKBOSE officials

Being well-prepared can significantly help in the fair disposal of your case.

Why This Notice Is Important

UFM cases can directly impact:

  • Result declaration
  • Subject validity
  • Overall academic record

JKBOSE’s decision to offer a personal hearing gives students a chance to clarify misunderstandings or present their side of the story. Ignoring this opportunity may result in penalties that could affect future academic prospects.

Final Words

The JKBOSE UFM Committee notice for Class 10th and 12th Annual Regular 2025 examinations is a crucial update for concerned students across Jammu and Kashmir. Candidates whose roll numbers are listed must treat this notice with utmost seriousness and appear before the committee on the scheduled date.
