Subject to fair weather and good road condition, vehicular movement on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road shall be allowed from both sides viz Srinagar towards Kargil and vice-versa. LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Minamarg towards Srinagar at 0730 hrs. to 1100 hrs. Similarly, LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Sonamarg towards Kargil at 1300 hrs to 1700 hrs. No vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timings.
*SFs Convoy, plying from Srinagar to Kargil, shall leave Srinagar at 0800 hrs. SFs Convoy plying from Drass to Srinagar shall plan their movement in such a manner so that Civil Traffic doesn’t get disturbed.*

Subject to fair weather and good road condition, vehicular movement on Mughal road shall be allowed from both sides viz. Poonch towards Shopian and vice versa. These vehicles shall be allowed from Behramgalla (Buffliaz) and Herpora (Shopian) at 0600 hrs. upto 1800 hrs. No vehicle shall be allowed after cut of timings

All officers, staff of Hazratbal shrine suspended for negligence of duties
Srinagar, Oct 01 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board chairperson has ordered suspension of all officers and staff of Hazratbal shrine for negligence of duties on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
According to order, a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) the action was taken during the surprise visit by the chairperson to Hazratbal shrine on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) in view of complaints by the people.
The order states that it was found that grave negligence of the concerned staff had created a lot of inconvenience to the devotees.
“Despite repeated orders and instructions from the officers and the ground staff concerned have failed to provide adequate facilities to the devotees. In view of this all the officers and the staff of Hazratbal shrine have been placed under suspension with immediate effect for the grave negligence in their duties,” reads the order.
The order stated that inquiry team headed by the chairperson has been constituted to probe into the issue—(KNO)
Class 9th student goes missing in Baramulla, Family seeks help
A teenager has gone missing from home in Nambalnar, Tangmarg in the Baramulla district of north Kashmir.
Ishtiyaq Ahmed Rather,15, son of Abdul Hameed Rather, resident of Nambalnar, Tangmarg has been missing since yesterday morning after he left for school, told his father to The Kashmiriyat.
He said that Ishtiyaq left for school yesterday morning when he (Ishtiyaq) didn’t come back home they called the school but the school authorities told them he did not come to school.
After he didn’t return home, the family searched for him everywhere, but couldn’t find him anywhere so far.
The family has filed a missing report at the concerned Police station and appealed to the general public to help them trace their kin.
“If anyone has any information about Ishtiyaq, kindly contact 9103193965, 9596177885,” family said in a general appeal.

NTA UGC NET 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the online registration for UGC NET December 2023. Eligible candidates can apply for the University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test through the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
As per the schedule, the UGC NET December 2023 online application process will be open from September 30 to October 28, 2023, up to 5:00 PM. The application correction facility for the registered candidates will be available from October 30 to 31, 2023. J&K govt orders suspension of DySP Sheikh Adil, ASP Budgam Gowhar Khan
Srinagar, Oct 01 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir government on Sunday ordered suspension of two senior police officers including DySP Sheikh Adil, who was recently arrested in a corruption case in Srinagar.
According to an order, a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) J&K home department stated that Adil Mushtaq, Deputy Superintendent of Police, shall be deemed to have been placed under suspension with effect from 21.09.2023.
Adil was arrested on September 21 in case FIR No. 149/2023 under sections 7, 7A of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, and section 167, 193, 201, 210, 218, 221 of IPC in Police Station Nowgam.
The order stated that he shall remain attached with Zonal Police Headquarters Kashmir, during the period of suspension.
In a separate order, the home department ordered suspension of additional superintendent of police Budgam Gowhar Ahmad Khan with immediate effect.
“Pending enquiry into his conduct Gowhar Ahmad Khan, Addl. Superintendent of Police Budgam, is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect. It is further ordered that the Officer shall remain attached with Zonal Police Headquarters Kashmir, during the period of suspension,” reads the order—(KNO)
