JKBOSE 10th & 12th Re-Evaluation and Photostat Answer Script 2026: Apply Online, Direct Links, Fee, Steps & Important Instructions

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has opened the online application process for Re-evaluation and Photostat (Xerox) Copy of Answer Script for Class 10th and Class 12th students. This facility is extremely helpful for students who are not satisfied with their marks and want their answer scripts rechecked, or those who want to verify their evaluated answer sheet by obtaining a photocopy.

With the activation of the official online portals, candidates can now submit their applications directly through JKBOSE’s website. Students are advised to apply within the stipulated deadline and ensure that all required details such as roll number, registration number and subject information are entered correctly.

In this article, we have covered everything you need to know about JKBOSE Re-evaluation and Photocopy Answer Script 2026, including what it means, who can apply, how to apply online step-by-step, important guidelines, benefits, and FAQs.

JKBOSE Re-Evaluation & Photostat Copy 2026 – Overview

Students after the declaration of JKBOSE results often feel that their performance in the exam was better than the marks they received. In such cases, the board offers two important post-result facilities:

  1. Re-evaluation (Rechecking of answer script)
  2. Photostat/Xerox copy of answer script

These services help maintain transparency in evaluation and provide students a fair chance to get their marks reviewed.

What is JKBOSE Re-evaluation?

Re-evaluation is a process where JKBOSE rechecks an answer script for possible errors in evaluation. During re-evaluation, the board ensures that:

  • All answers have been evaluated properly
  • No question has been left unchecked
  • Marks have been totaled correctly
  • Marks have been transferred properly to the result sheet

It is important to understand that re-evaluation does not mean re-writing the paper or re-exam, it is simply a verification of the marks already awarded.

✅ Who should apply for re-evaluation?

Students can consider applying for re-evaluation if:

  • They expected significantly higher marks
  • Their marks do not match their confidence level after exam
  • They believe some answers may have been unchecked
  • Their total seems incorrect

What is JKBOSE Photostat / Xerox Copy of Answer Script?

JKBOSE also provides students the option to obtain a photostat (xerox) copy of their evaluated answer sheet. This helps students to:

  • See how marks were awarded
  • Check for unmarked answers
  • Verify the evaluation pattern
  • Identify mistakes for future exams
  • Decide whether re-evaluation is needed

Photostat copy is also useful for students preparing for competitive exams, as it allows them to understand their exam-writing pattern and areas of improvement.

JKBOSE Re-evaluation vs Photostat Copy – Key Difference

Many students get confused between these two. Here is a simple explanation:

🔹 Re-evaluation

  • JKBOSE rechecks the paper
  • Totals and unchecked answers are verified
  • Marks may increase or remain the same

🔹 Photostat (Xerox Copy)

  • Student receives a copy of the evaluated answer sheet
  • Helps students review their own paper
  • Marks are not changed automatically

👉 Ideally, students can first apply for the photostat copy, check their paper, and then decide if re-evaluation is required.

Before applying, keep these important points in mind:

JKBOPEE Releases Re-Revised Provisional Merit List for NEET PG 2025 (MD/MS/PGD) & Round-3/Mop-Up Counselling Schedule

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has issued an important notification for NEET PG 2025 candidates belonging to the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh. The board has published the Re-Revised Provisional Merit List for MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses-2025, along with the online choice filling and counselling schedule for Round-3/Mop-Up admissions.

Notification No.: 021-BOPEE of 2026
Date: 30-01-2026
Reference Code: NEET-PG-MDMSPGD-NN-021 Dt. 30-01-2026

The latest notification comes as a key step for candidates who are waiting for Round-3 seat allotment or hoping for upgradation in the Mop-Up counselling round.

Why JKBOPEE Issued the Re-Revised Merit List?

According to JKBOPEE, the revision is a result of developments after the reduction of percentile by NBEMS (National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences). Based on this reduction, the board reopened the online registration portal for eligible and willing NEET PG aspirants from the UT of J&K/Ladakh for admission to MD/MS/PGD Courses – 2025.

Earlier, JKBOPEE published a revised provisional merit list through:

  • Notification No. 009-BOPEE of 2026 dated 15-01-2026
  • Notification No. 019-BOPEE of 2026 dated 25-01-2026

However, after the revised list was uploaded, candidates were allowed to submit objections/representations within the given deadline. The board received two representations, and after verification, the list was updated again—resulting in the Re-Revised Provisional Merit List.

Representations Considered by JKBOPEE

JKBOPEE received representations from the following candidates:

  1. Sheikh Aliya Shafi – request to consider Difficult Area Certificate issued by Director Health Services.
  2. Zahid Manzoor Dar – request to consider EWS certificate.

After verification of documents, JKBOPEE decided:

  • Zahid Manzoor Dar’s EWS category was accepted, since the certificate was issued within the required timeline fixed by the board.
  • Sheikh Aliya Shafi will be allowed provisionally to participate in the counselling process, but must produce a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the competent authority within the prescribed time (at the time of admission if allotted).

Annexures Released With the Notification

JKBOPEE has prepared and uploaded the updated merit lists as:

  • Annexure A: Re-Revised Provisional Merit List

These annexures are available only on the official JKBOPEE website: www.jkbopee.gov.in.

5) Candidates Who Qualified NEET PG 2025 But Didn’t Participate Earlier

Counselling Fee for Round-3/Mop-Up

JKBOPEE has stated that candidates who did not participate earlier and are joining now in Round-3 must pay:

💳 Counselling Fee: ₹2000/- (Non-refundable)

Important points:

  • Only candidates who paid fee + filled online preferences will be considered for allotment.
  • Candidates who already paid counselling fee in Round-1/2 do not need to pay again.

Seat Allotment Rules in Mop-Up Round

JKBOPEE has also clarified how vacant seats will be allotted in this round.

Key rules include:

  • Only vacant seats will be filled.
  • Vacant seats in OM category will go to OM candidates.
  • Vacant seats in reserved categories will go to candidates of that category as per merit and preferences.
  • If reserved category seats remain vacant due to non-availability of candidates, they may be converted to OM seats as per: Section 09(2) of J&K Reservation Act, 2004

Important Instructions for Candidates

JKBOPEE has issued several important counselling instructions. Candidates must take special note:

Fill Maximum Preferences

Since counselling is online, candidates should fill as many choices as possible to maximize chances of seat allotment/upgradation.

Only Annexure-A Candidates Eligible

Only candidates who figure in Annexure A of the notification will be considered for Round-3 allotment/upgradation.

Seat Matrix Availability

The seat matrix will be uploaded on JKBOPEE website before the choice filling begins.

Mere preference filling does not guarantee admission; final admission depends on verification of documents at the allotted institution.

Hindu Minority (HM) Management Quota

Counselling for Management Quota HM seats will be conducted separately as and when notified.

Where to Check the Merit List and Counselling Updates?

Candidates should regularly check:

  • Official website: www.jkbopee.gov.in
  • Notifications and seat matrices will be uploaded there only.

The release of the Re-Revised Provisional Merit List NEET PG 2025 by JKBOPEE is a crucial update for MD/MS/PG Diploma aspirants belonging to the UT of J&K/Ladakh. Candidates must carefully verify their merit positions, ensure fee payment (if applicable), and complete Round-3/Mop-Up choice filling between 30-01-2026 (3 PM) and 02-02-2026 (midnight).

To avoid mistakes or missing out on seat allotment, candidates should fill maximum choices, stay updated with JKBOPEE notices, and keep required documents ready.
