Commission and Academic Qualifications
Upon successful completion of the four-year training program, candidates will be awarded a Permanent Commission in the Indian Army. In addition, they will receive an Engineering degree; however, this academic qualification will not provide any ante-date seniority in their military career. The training is rigorous, and under the JNU Ordinance, cadets are permitted a maximum of two academic relegations. Any further academic failures may lead to their withdrawal from the program.

Stipend and Career Progression
During the training period, cadets will receive a monthly stipend of ₹56,100, aligning with the stipend provided to National Defence Academy (NDA) cadets. After the completion of training and formal commissioning, officers will receive salaries according to their ranks and be entitled to all applicable military benefits. This pathway offers not only financial support during training but also a promising and honorable career in the Indian Army.

Cadets will be given a stipend of ₹56,100, which is the same as that for NDA cadets, for the first three years of training. After four years of training, they will be commissioned and will be given the pay scale corresponding to their rank.
