The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued an important notification regarding the medical examination of provisionally selected candidates for the posts of Constable (Armed/IRP/SDRF/Executive/Telecommunication) in the Home Department.

GMC Srinagar Releases Selection List for Tenure Posts of Senior Residents (SRs) in Various Departments

Government Medical College (GMC), Srinagar has issued an official notification regarding the selection list for the tenure post of Senior Residents (SRs) in various departments.

As per the order, the selection list has been issued in continuation to Office Notification No. 04-RA of 2026 dated 28-01-2026. GMC Srinagar stated that after scrutiny of application forms, it was found that in the following departments the number of applications received was less than or equal to the vacant positions, hence no written test was required:

  • Paediatrics
  • Paediatric Surgery

The college has notified that the selection list comprises 07 candidates in the above departments (Annexure “A”).


Reporting & Document Verification Instructions

All selected candidates are directed to report to the Office of the Registrar Academics, Government Medical College, Srinagar along with required documents within 07 days from the date of issuance of notification.

After reporting, selected candidates will be provided URL, login ID, and password on their registered mobile number for submission of online form through Employee Verification System (EVS).
