Vacant Positions and Eligibility

1. Chairperson (01 Vacancy) Candidates eligible for the position of Chairperson must have held a post not below the rank of Principal Secretary to the Government. They should possess adequate knowledge or experience in dealing with issues related to engineering, finance, commerce, economics, law, administration, or management.

2. Member (01 Vacancy) Candidates for the Member position should be individuals of ability, integrity, and standing with substantial knowledge or experience in engineering, finance, commerce, economics, law, or management. Additionally, they must have held a post not below the rank of Chief Engineer and possess qualifications and experience in Hydraulic Engineering.

Terms and Conditions of Service

1. The Chairperson and other members will serve a term of three years from their appointment date or until the age of 65, whichever comes first.
2. Appointees shall not hold any other office during their tenure.
3. The Chairperson will receive a salary and allowances equivalent to those of a Principal Secretary to the Government or their previous pay, whichever is higher.
4. The Member will receive salary and allowances equivalent to those of a Chief Engineer or their previous pay, whichever is higher.
5. If appointees were receiving a pension from previous government service, their salary will be adjusted accordingly.
6. Appointees must take an oath of office and secrecy before starting their duties.
7. The Government reserves the right to remove the Chairperson or Member as per the regulatory provisions.

DSEK Invites Objections for General Merit List for Cluster Resource Coordinators in Teaching Support

Srinagar, July 5, 2024 – The Directorate of School Education Kashmir has issued a notification inviting objections to the General Merit List (Tentative) for the hiring of “Cluster Resource Coordinators for Teaching Support” for the academic session 2024-25. The hiring process is aimed at securing temporary positions in various Government High & Higher Secondary Schools across Kashmir Division until March 31, 2025.

Eligible candidates, who are domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir with at least 50% marks in post-graduation in their respective disciplines, had previously applied under Notification No: 06-DSEK of 2024, dated June 19, 2024. The tentative merit lists are now available on the official website www.jkdscek.com and www.dsek.nic.in.

Applicants who have applied under irrelevant subject categories, submitted incomplete applications, or applied in more than one district are urged to rectify their applications promptly. Only one district application per subject will be considered.
