JKBOSE 11th Result 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is set to release the JKBOSE 11th Result 2024 in the 1 week of july, following the completion of the answer sheets revaluation process. Over 80,000 students from Class 11 in JK’s hard and soft zone areas are eagerly awaiting their Part 1 annual exam results. The JK Board 11th result 2024 gazette will be accessible on the official website at jkbose.nic.in. Once the results are published, students can check their marks using their roll number and registration number and print their online mark sheets. This release will include information on the scorecard release date, instructions on how to download the JKBOSE 11th result by name, pass percentages, and other relevant details.

The JK Board 11th online marksheet for all schools in Jammu and Kashmir will contain comprehensive details such as the subject-wise marks of students, their names, names of their parents, roll number, regist‘ ration number, date of birth, total marks, total obtained marks, and percentages. To be successfully promoted to class 12, students need to secure at least 33% marks. The JK Board Higher Secondary Exam for part 1 results will be announced on the same day for both the Jammu and Kashmir hard and soft zones. The class 11 exam was conducted differently in the hard and soft zone divisions. The soft zone exams took place from April 2 to May 1, 2024, while the hard zone exams were held from April 22 to May 26, 2024. The result for both zones is expected in the 4th week of June 2024. To download the JKBOSE 11th result 2024 by roll number, students need to visit the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education at jkbose.nic.in. On the homepage, they should select the higher secondary class 11th option. This will lead them to the JKBOSE Class 11 result page for the Soft Zone Jammu & Kashmir Division. They must then enter their roll number or registration number correctly in the designated fields and click the submit button. After submitting, students should carefully check their marks and download the JK Board 11th marksheet 2024 for future reference.

Students also have the option to check their JKBOSE 11th class result by name. For this, they need to visit indiaresults.com. On the login page, they can enter either their name or roll number to view their subject-wise marks. This alternative method provides a convenient way for students who might not have immediate access to their roll number or registration details.

Moreover, the JKBOSE Board has facilitated checking the JK Board 11th marks via SMS. To access their Jammu 11th results for 2024, students can use the SMS service by typing a message in their SMS app on their mobile phone in the format “JKBOSE11 (ROLL Number)” and sending it to 5676750. For instance, the message should be formatted as “JKBOSE11 2133422.” The result will then be delivered to their phone via SMS on the day of the result announcement.

The Jammu and Kashmir Education Board conducted the Class 11th soft zone examination from March 6 to April 19, 2024. Most schools in Jammu Kashmir fall under the Soft zone division, while the hard zone division includes schools that are often inaccessible due to challenging connectivity, terrain, and snowfall conditions. The previous year’s pass percentage for the JKBOSE 11th class was 53%, with 73,471 out of 139,431 candidates passing the exam. Additionally, 33,845 students achieved first division.

Finally, students who believe that their marks can be improved have the opportunity to apply for the JKBOSE 11th result re-evaluation 2024. The re-evaluation process will commence soon after the results are announced, and candidates must pa‘y Rs 495 per subject for rechecking. They can also request to see photocopies of their original scripts for an additional fee of Rs 255. However, students who received less than 20% in a subject will not be eligible for the re-evaluation process.

Eligibility

Weather Update: Rainfall Expected Across Jammu and Kashmir, Caution Advised

In the past 24 hours, significant rainfall has been recorded across various parts of Jammu and Kashmir, with Udhampur receiving 47.9mm, Katra 28.9mm, and Jammu 14.4mm. Looking ahead, the Meteorological Centre in Srinagar has issued forecasts indicating potential weather developments in the region.

Forecast Highlights:
– June 29th – 30th: Expect light to moderate rain and thundershowers in many areas of Jammu Division late at night or early morning. Towards the afternoon and evening, there’s a likelihood of rain and thundershowers in a few places across Kashmir Division.

Pahalgam Naib Tehsildar Suspended for Unauthorized Absence During Yatra

Naib Tehsildar Pahalgam Suspended For Leaving Station Sans Permission Amid Yatra

Srinagar, June 29: Authorities have placed under suspension a Naib Tehsildar for leaving the station without permission and “sabotaging” the ongoing annual Amarnath Yatra.

“Sh. Ovais Amir, Naib Tehsildar Pahalgam is hereby placed under suspension for leaving the station without permission and sabotaging the ongoing SANJY 2024,” reads an order by Deputy Commissioner Anantnag.

“Meanwhile, Sub Divisional Magistrate Kokernag shall enquire into the matter for noncompliance of the Naib Tehsildar,” the order, a copy of which lies with GNS, reads, “adding, “the suspendee shall remain attached with his office during the period of his suspension.” (GNS)

NTA Announces New UGC-NET Exam Dates Amid Controversy

Amid raging row, NTA announces fresh exam dates, UGC-NET to be held from Aug 21-Sept 4

New Delhi, Jun 29: Amid a raging row over alleged irregularities in the conduct of competitive exams, the National Testing Agency (NTA) Friday night released fresh dates for cancelled and postponed examinations, announcing the UGC-NET will now be held from August 21-September 4.

The University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) was cancelled a day after being conducted on June 18 as the education ministry received inputs that the integrity of the exam was compromised.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had said the question paper was leaked on the darknet and circulated on the Telegram app. The matter is being probed by the CBI.

The UGC-NET is a test to determine the eligibility for the award of Junior Research Fellowship, for appointment of assistant professors and admission to PhD courses.

In a shift from the earlier pattern, the exam was conducted in offline mode this year and on a single day. However, the rescheduled exam will be conducted according to the earlier pattern of Computer Based Test (CBT) spread across a fortnight.

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) UGC-NET, which was postponed as a preemptive measure amid the row over alleged irregularities in the conduct of exams, will now be held from July 25-July 27.

The CSIR UGC-NET is accepted for PhD admissions in Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.

The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), which was postponed hours before its scheduled commencement on June 12, will now be conducted on July 10.

The test is held for select central and state universities or institutions, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and government colleges.

In the line of fire over the alleged irregularities in medical entrance examination NEET-UG and PhD entrance NET, the Centre had last week notified a panel to ensure transparent, smooth and fair conduct of examinations through the NTA.

While the NEET is under scanner over several alleged irregularities, including paper leak, the UGC-NET was cancelled as the ministry received inputs that the integrity of the exam was compromised.

Two other exams — CSIR-UGC NET and NEET-PG — were cancelled as a preemptive step.–(PTI)
