An official source told Daily Spark News that datesheet making rounds on social media are fake, students must check official website of the Board of School Education (BOSE) for the authentic release of the Class 10th and 12th date sheets, he said.

Jammu Kashmir Weather Update for next 7 days (January 4th-10th)
Srinagar, Jan 4 (GNS): Severe cold conditions continued in Jammu and Kashmir with Srinagar recording a low of minus 3.8°C while Jammu recorded season’s lowest temperature on Thursday.
While Srinagar recorded a minimum of minus 4.8°C for the last two nights, a meteorological department official here told GNS that the current temperature of minus 3.8°C was 1.7°C below normal for the summer capital of J&K for this time of the year.
Qazigund recorded a minimum of minus 3.4°C against minus 4.6°C on the previous night, he said. The minimum temperature was 0.5°C below normal for the gateway town of Kashmir, the MeT official said.
Pahalgam recorded a low of minus 5.1°C against minus 6.6°C on the previous night and it was 1.5°C above normal for the famous resort in south Kashmir.
Kokernag, also in south Kashmir, recorded a minimum of minus 2.44°C against minus 3.2°C on the previous night and the temperature was above normal by 1.1°C for the place, the official said.
Kupwara town in north Kashmir recorded a low of minus 3.9°C against minus 5.3°C on the previous night and it was 1.4°C below normal there, the official said.
Gulmarg, the official said, recorded a low of minus 4.2°C against minus 3.8°C on the previous night and the temperature was 2.8°C above normal for the world famous skiing resort in north Kashmir.
Jammu, he said, recorded a minimum of 4.7°C against 7.0°C on previous night, and it was below normal by 2.6°C for the winter capital of J&K.
Banihal recorded a low of minus 0.4°C, Batote 3.1°C and Bhaderwah 1.1°C, he said.
Kashmir valley is under ‘Chillai-Kalan’, the 40-day harsh period of winter, which will end on January 30. However it does not mean an end to the winter. It is followed by a 20-day-long period called ‘Chillai-Khurd’ that occurs between January 30 and February 19 and a 10-day-long period ‘Chillai-Bachha’ (baby cold) which is from February 20 to March 1.
Weatherman has that from January 4-5 there is possibility of generally cloudy and dry weather over plains and “very light” snow over “isolated extreme higher reaches”. From January 6-7, he said, mainly dry weather is expected.

JKBOSE Class 8th Syllabus 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has published the syllabus for Class 8 students for the upcoming academic session 2024 in a downloadable PDF format. NTA Declares Final Result of EPFO Recruitment Exam 2023 for Social Security Assistant Post
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the final result of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Recruitment Examination for the post of Social Security Assistant. The recruitment exam was conducted in two stages – Stage I on 18th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd August 2023 and Stage II Skill Test on 19th November 2023.
Out of the total 6,46,287 candidates who had registered for the Stage I exam, 2,46,725 candidates had appeared and 26,777 candidates had qualified. All the qualified candidates were eligible to appear for the Stage II Skill Test for which 22,833 candidates had appeared.
The final result has been released today, 3rd January 2024, on the official website recruitment.nta.nic.in. The candidature of shortlisted candidates will be subject to document verification and meeting other eligibility criteria laid down by EPFO.

JKBOPEE Provisional Selection List of candidates for Admission to PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology-2023 in Composite Regional Centre, Bemina, Srinagar [PGDRP-NN-002 Dt. 02-01-2024]
In accordance with Notification No. 143-BOPEE of 2023 dated 25-12-2023 and subsequent developments outlined in Notification No. 002-BOPEE of 2024 dated 02-01-2024, the Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Bemina, Srinagar, has released the Provisional Selection List for candidates seeking admission to the PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology Course-2023.
Initially, a Provisional Merit List was published based on the information provided by the candidates. However, in response to this, Ms. Maria Majid submitted a representation on 27-12-2023, asserting her qualifications and requesting a review of her assigned position. Following a thorough examination of her documentation, the Board has duly revised her placement in the list, recognizing her academic achievements.
The Annexure-B to Notification No. 002-BOPEE of 2024 contains the updated Provisional Selection List.
