JKBOPEE Admission Notice 2023: Conduct of counseling (Physical) for admission to B.Ed. Courses-2023 at Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE), Srinagar / B.Ed. Special Education in Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Srinagar.

In pursuance of Notification No. 028-BOPEE of 2023 dated 10-05-2023, the Board
had notified the provisional merit list of eligible candidates who had appeared in
Common Entrance Test for admission to B.Ed. Courses-2023 in the Institute of Advanced
Studies in Education (IASE), Srinagar/Govt. College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu/B.Ed.

Special Education in Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Srinagar, for objections, if any,
against their Entrance Marks / Rank up to 13-05-2023. It was also notified in the above
referred Notifications that in case no objections are received within the prescribed date, the provisional merit shall be deemed to be final. Since Board has not received any
representation / objection(s) from any candidate till 13-05-2023 about their rank/position assigned to the candidates on the basis of marks secured by them in the Entrance Test. As such, the PML has been deemed as final.

Now, it is hereby notified for information of all the eligible concerned candidates
that the Board shall conduct Physical Round of Counselling for admission in the Institute
of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE), Srinagar & B.Ed. Special Education in
Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Srinagar of the candidates who figure in Annexure – A
to the Notification No. 028-BOPEE of 2023 dated 10-05-2023 as per the following
schedule:

Instructions:
1. The eligible / desirous candidates who are willing to take admission in the
Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE), Srinagar or B.Ed. Special
Education in Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Srinagar shall have to report
physically at the BOPEE offices Jammu/ Srinagar for Registration/Attendance
between 08:30 A.M to 10:00 A.M. on above mentioned date.
2. Candidates are advised to bring along with them their Domicile Certificate,
valid Category Certificate, if any, and other relevant certificates/ documents
including Marks Cards of all years/ Semesters of Qualifying Examination, as applicable for the said course to be presented at the time of counselling,
otherwise they shall not be allowed to participate in the counselling process.
4. The seat matrix shall be uploaded on website of the Board separately in due
course of time before admission.
5. For latest updates related to the counselling, the candidates are advised to
remain in touch with the Website of the Board (www.jkbopee.gov.in) regularly for updates.
6. Any candidate who may not be able to attend the counseling personally
owing to a valid reason can authorize a person (through Authority Letter-on
prescribed format) from his/her family member to participate in the
counseling on his/her behalf at BOPEE offices Jammu/Srinagar on the day/date of counseling as per his/her Rank.
7. The candidates provisionally selected for this course in any of above College /
Institute are advised to contact concerned College/Institute for admission fee
and other requisite formalities before coming for counselling.
8. The Counselling Schedule for admission to Government College of Education,
Canal Road, Jammu shall be notified separately as already mentioned in the
Notification No. 028-BOPEE of 2023 dated 10-05-2023.

The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as notified in the e-Information Brochure/ Notifications/Notices issued by the Board in this regard from time to time.

Lady teacher found using unknown software for fake attendance in North Kashmir

Kupwara, May 27: Education Department has withheld the salary of a lady teacher and asked her to explain her position after she was allegedly found using an unknown app to do fake attendance.

Office of the Zonal Education Officer Rajwar in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district today issued an order asking a lady teacher namely Shabena Nazir to reveal the app she has been using to do fake attendance.

“You have been doing your attendance on JK Attendance SED App from the location in contrast to the location coordinates of your present place of posting.”

The order reads that despite doing attendance today from an unknown app you were found absent today. “Your act has been observed seriously and shows that you have been doing proxy with JK Attendance SED App which is against the norms and guidelines of Directorate of School Education Kashmir.”

The Zonal Education Officer has also directed the head of the Institution to explain his position and why he didn’t inform the department.

The ZEO Rajwar has asked the erring teacher to inform what kind of software she has been using to make fake attendance on JK Attendance SED App by or before 29 May and till then her salary will be withheld. [KNT]

CUET UG 2023: The National Testing Agency has released admit cards for the upcoming exam dates of Common University Entrance Test, Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2023. Registered candidates can now check and download their admit cards from official website of NTA — nta.ac.in, or cuet.samarth.ac.in.

NTA has now released admit cards of CUET UG scheduled on May 29, 30, 31 and June 1, 2. As per the UGC Chief, M Jagadesh Kumar, the admit cards were released around 4:45 am today (May 27).

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) admit card for the exams to be conducted between 29 May and 2 June. The CUET UG 2023 admit card can be downloaded directly from the official website: cuet.samarth.ac.in. CUET UG 2023 exams are at present going on and will end on 6 June.

Applicants who will be appearing for the exams must check and verify their names, photographs and other personal details along with their CUET UG 2023 application form numbers on their CUET UG 2023 hall tickets.

The Department of Posts (GDS Section) has issued a fresh notification and invited online applications from the eligible applicants for engagement as Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) [Branch Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) in Branch Post Offices (BOs) created in the year 2023.

The interested and eligible candidates can send their applications online at www.indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

While the online registration and submission of applications will start on May 22 and will continue till June 11, the candidates can edit or do correction to their applications between June 12 and June 14.

Emoluments:

  • Emoluments in the form of Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) plus Dearness Allowance thereon are paid to the GDS. The applicable TRCA to different categories are as under:

Salary:

  • BPM: Rs.12,000-29,380
  • ABPM: Rs.10,000-24,470

Age limits:

  • Minimum age:18 years
  • Maximum age:40 years
  • However, there will be relaxation for the deserving candidates.

Educational qualification:

  • Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.
  • The applicant should have studied the local language i’e (Name of local language) at least up to Secondary standard [as compulsory or elective subjects.

Other qualifications:

  • Knowledge of computer
  • Knowledge of cycling
  • Adequate means of livelihood

Notification of Result for the Urdu Qualifying Paper for the Posts of Election Assistant (Junior Scale ) and Patwari/Settlement Patwari.

Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board advertised 110 Posts of Election Assistant (Junior Scale) (Election Department), Item No. 99 and 01 post of Patwari/Settlement Patwari (DMRRR) vide advertisement No. 04 of 2020 dated : 16.12.2020 and 05 of 2022 dated : 09.09.2022
respectively;

Whereas, the Advance Notice for conduct of Computer Based Written test (CBT) for the said posts was issued vide Notice No. JKSSB-COE0EXAM/10/2022-04 (CC-7055504 ) dated: 06.01.2023;

Whereas, the syllabus and scheme of examination for the above mentioned posts along-with Urdu Qualifying paper was notified vide Notice No. JKSSB-COE0EXAM/10/2022-04 (CC-7055504 ) dated: 06.01.2023;

❖ Women candidates in the age group of 18-37 years shall be considered for the post.

❖ The candidate should be a domicile of the UT of J&K.

❖ The candidate should be a resident of the Electoral Ward where AWC is located.

❖ Minimum Education qualification should be 10+2 and maximum graduation.

❖ Weightage shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 and selection shall be granted purely on academic merit basis & there shall not be any interview.

❖ In case eligible candidate is available within the family of retired AWW the said candidate shall qualify for additional two percent points.

❖ Candidates with qualification higher than graduation shall not be considered.
