“In continuation to this office letter even number dated 05.03.2025 regarding fresh admissions in Kendriya Vidyalayas for the Academic Session 2025-26, it is to inform that the last date for online registration and submission of application form for Balvatika-1 & 3 (wherever applicable) is hereby extended to 24.03.2025 (up to 10:00 PM). Further, the draw of lots for Balvatika-I & 3 (wherever applicable) is now scheduled to be held on 28.03.2025 instead of 26.03.2025 as communicated previously vide KVS(HQs) letter dated 17.03.2025,” mentioned the official notice.

SSC Selection Post Phase 13 Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 2423 Vacancies

Eligibility criteria:

Reservation of seats will be as per KVS Admission Guidelines 2025-26 and age for Balvatika-1, 2 & 3 will be 3 to 4 years, 4 to 5 years and 5 to 6 years respectively as on 31.03.2025.

No fee is to be charged to the children admitted under the 25% quota prescribed under the RTE Act 2009. Once the children are admitted in Class-I under the RTE Act, they will continue to avail exemptions and concessions till class VIII.

1. Visit the official website of KVS at kvsangathan.nic.in.

2. Click on KVS Admission 2025 notice available on the home page.

3. A new PDF file will open where candidates will get the registration links for Balvatika 1 & 3 and Class 1.

National Testing Agency, NTA has started the registration process for CSIR UGC NET June 2025 on June 3, 2025. Candidates who want to apply for Joint CSIR-UGC NET examination, June 2025 can find the direct link through the official website of CSIR UGC NET at csirnet.nta.ac.in.

The registration process will close on June 23, 2025 and the last date for payment of fee is June 24, 2025. The correction window will open on June 25 and close on June 26, 2025.

The CSIR UGC NET examination will be held on July 26, 27 and 28, 2025. The Examinations will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.The Test will consist of three parts. All the parts will consist of objective type, multiple choice questions. There will be no break between papers.

Traffic Advisory for Jammu-Srinagar NHW and Other Key Routes – June 4, 2025

The Traffic Police Headquarters, J&K, Jammu/Srinagar has issued a detailed traffic advisory for commuters traveling on various routes across Jammu and Kashmir, including the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44), Mughal Road, SSG Road, and Kishtwar-Sinthan-Anantnag Road. Travelers are urged to follow the guidelines and plan their journeys accordingly.

NH-44 Traffic Update (June 2–3, 2025)

From June 2 at 5:00 PM to June 3 at 5:00 PM, slow movement was observed on NH-44 due to the following reasons:

  • Breakdown of two Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs)
  • Movement of a nomadic flock
  • Ongoing four-lane construction
  • Single-lane traffic at Dalwas, Peeda, Mehad, Marog, and Kishtwari Pather

Traffic was regulated at Mehad, Cafeteria, and Ramban due to a single-lane stretch of about 150–200 meters. Commuters are advised to maintain lane discipline, avoid overtaking, and exercise patience.

Important Instructions for Commuters

  1. Passenger and LMV Operators
    Travel during daytime is advised due to potential shooting stones between Ramban and Banihal.
  2. Goods Carrier Operators (HMVs/LMVs)
    • Carry only perishable/live stock as per Traffic Police advisories
    • Avoid overloading and ensure vehicles are fit and fueled properly
    • Only 6 and 10-tyre HMVs are permitted via Dhar Road
  3. General Advisory
    Avoid unnecessary halts, especially in landslide-prone areas between Ramban and Banihal.

Traffic Plan for June 4, 2025

Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44):

  • LMVs/Passenger Cars: Allowed from both Jammu and Srinagar sides, subject to fair weather and road conditions.
  • HMVs (Load Carriers): Allowed from Jakheni (Udhampur) towards Srinagar only till 4:00 PM, based on road conditions.
    No HMV will be allowed after 4:00 PM.

Kishtwar-Sinthan-Anantnag Road (NH-244):

  • LMVs/HPSVs: Allowed from both Anantnag and Kishtwar sides.
    • From PP Parana to Anantnag: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
    • From PP Daksum to Kishtwar: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • No HMVs (except designated HPSVs) are allowed as per orders issued by SDM Chhatroo and SDM Kokernag.

SSG Road (Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari):

  • Minamarg to Srinagar: LMVs followed by HMVs allowed from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM
  • Sonamarg to Kargil: LMVs followed by HMVs allowed from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM
  • No vehicles permitted beyond cut-off times.

Mughal Road:

  • LMVs/Private Vehicles: Allowed from both sides (Jammu-Srinagar via Poonch)
  • HMVs (Local Livestock up to six tyres): Allowed from Poonch to Shopian between 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
