Srinagar, May 1, 2025 — The University of Kashmir has officially announced the postponement of its undergraduate examinations that were originally scheduled for May 3, 2025. The decision comes in view of the upcoming NEET (UG) 2025 examination, to avoid any logistical or academic clashes for the students.

As per the notification issued by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, the rescheduled date for these postponed papers has now been fixed for May 17, 2025. The university has further clarified that while the examination date has changed, the time and venue will remain unchanged.

J&K Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Document Verification 2025: Important Notice by JKPSC

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued an official notice regarding the J&K Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Document Verification 2025 for the Animal & Sheep Husbandry Department. All shortlisted candidates, as mentioned in annexures “A & B,” are directed to appear before the Verification Committee at either the Jammu or Srinagar JKPSC offices.

The verification process will take place on 6th and 7th May 2025, starting at 9:30 AM. Candidates can choose either of the two dates for document verification

Documents Required for Verification

Candidates must present the original documents supporting the following claims:

  • Age proof
  • Educational qualifications
  • Internship completion
  • Registration with State Veterinary Council or equivalent body
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)

NEET UG Admit Card 2025: How to download

1. Visit the official website of NTA NEET at neet.nta.nic.in.

2. Click on NEET UG Admit Card 2025 link available on the home page.

3. A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the login details.

4. Click on submit and your admit card will be displayed.

5. Check the admit card and download it.

6. Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

The NEET UG examination will be held on May 4, 2025, in a single shift—from 2 pm to 5 pm. The Test pattern of NEET (UG)—2025 comprises Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and zoology).The question paper will consist of 180 compulsory questions that the candidates must attempt in 180 minutes.

The duration of the test would be three (03) hours. Compensatory time of one hour for examination of three hours (03:00 hrs) duration for PwBD Candidate [having a physical limitation to write] will be given, whether such candidate uses the facility of Scribe or not. The NEET (UG) -2025 is being conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
