ITBP Constable Recruitment 2024: Last Day to Apply for 819 Posts, Direct Application Link

ITBP will recruit candidates for Constable posts. Eligible candidates can apply from September 2 onwards.

Indo Tibetan Border Police Force, ITBP has invited applications for Constable posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of ITBP at recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. This recruitment drive will fill up 819 posts in the organization.

The registration process will start on September 2 and will end on October 1, 2024. Read below for eligibility, selection process and other details.

  • Male: 697 posts
  • Female: 122 posts

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to apply for the posts should have matriculation or Class 10 pass certificate from a recognized Board. The age limit should be between 18 to 25 years of age.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), written examination, verification of original documents and Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical examination (RME). Medical examination to assess the fitness of candidates will be conducted in terms of Uniform Guidelines for recruitment Medical Examination for GOs and NGOs in CAPFs and ARs.

Application Fee

The application fee is 100/-. Fee are exempted for female, ex-servicemen and candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe categories.

Selection procedure and CTC

The candidates need to go through shortlisting phase followed by an interview. The shortlisting committee appointed by the bank will decide the criteria for shortlisting and the selected candidates will be called for interviews. The interview will be of 100 marks and the qualifying marks will be set by the bank. During the interview, the negotiation committee will discuss the CTC.

Important points to keep in mind

The applicants must possess the qualification and relevant full-time experience as on specified dates. The relevant experience certificate from employer must contain specifically that the candidate has experience in that related field as required. Training & Teaching experience will not be counted for eligibility in the experience criteria. Relaxation in upper age limit will be available to reserved category candidates as per Govt. of India guidelines (wherever applicable).

Monsoon Season Ends, Jammu and Kashmir Receives 26% Deficit Rainfall

This 26% is a huge figure.

Between June 01 & September 30, Jammu and Kashmir received just 408.5 mm of rainfall against the normal 549.1 mm.

Srinagar recorded a rainfall deficit of 30%.

Except Pulwama district which recorded a rainfall deficit of 13%, the other districts in south Kashmir received below normal rainfall in the range of -50 to -80%. Similar was the case in other districts of Kashmir Valley.

Baramulla was the only district in Kashmir to receive normal rainfall in the positive category (1% above normal)

Samba received above normal rainfall of 13% and was the best performing district. Jammu received exact normal rainfall as it should have.

Rest all districts in Jammu region received below normal rainfall in the range of -15 to -76%.

Meanwhile, Ladakh received surplus rainfall of 17%. Kargil with 8% surplus and Leh with 18%.

CISF Constable Recruitment 2024: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced that the application window for the recruitment of Constables will close on September 30.
