The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora, Kashmir, has released Admission Notification No. 04 of 2024 for the academic session 2024. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following programs:

  • B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence (AI) – FYUGP
  • B.Sc. Data Science (DS) – FYUGP
  • B.Voc. Operation Theatre Technology (OTT)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence (AI) – FYUGP: Having passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks from the J&K Board of School Education or any other recognized board.
  • B.Sc. Data Science (DS) – FYUGP: Having passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks from the J&K Board of School Education or any other recognized board.
  • B.Voc. Operation Theatre Technology (OTT): Having passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks from the J&K Board of School Education or any other recognized board with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subjects.

Ministry Of Education Hiring Various Positions For Samagra Shiksha Project

The last date of submission of online application TSG-Samgra Shiksha has been extended till August 6, 2024.

Ministry of Education, EdCIL has invited on-line applications from eligible candidates for chief consultant (2 positions), senior consultant (4 positions) and consultants (12 positions) on contractual basis for TSG – Samagra Shiksha Project.

Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website of the Ministry of Education for detailed information. The last date of submission of online application TSG-Samgra Shiksha has been extended till August 6, 2024. The previous deadline to fill the applications is July 30, 2024.

Chief Consultants
Chief Consultants will be entitled for a pay of  Rs 1,20,000-Rs 1,50,000. Candidates not above the age of 45 years, having a master’s degree in social sciences/Education/Linguistic Studies/MBA are leigible for the post of NCF,  Multilinguism, Text Book. The candidate must have scored at least 60 per cent in master’s degree from a recognised university.

Candidates having a master’s degree/MTech in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems/Technology with at least 60 per cent from a recognised university can apply for the the post of Chief Consultant at NDEAR and VSK.

Senior Consultants
Four positions are  vacant for the post of Senior Consultants. The salary for this jobs will range between Rs 1,00,000- 1,20,000.

Candidates having a master’s degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture/ BTech(Civil) with MBA or 2 years PG Diploma in Management with atleast 60 per cent from a recognised university are eligible to apply for the post.

UGC NET June 2024: NTA Announces Revised Exam Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the schedule for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 for the June session. Candidates can check the schedule from the official website of UGC NET — ugcnet.nta.ac.in. According to the notice, the UGC NET June 2024 exam will be re-conducted between August 21 and September 4 in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The notification regarding intimation of the city of exam centre will be displayed on NTA website(s) ugcnet.nta.ac.in and nta.ac.in, 10 days before the exam.

Earlier, the exam was conducted in pen and paper format on June 18 and in two shifts. The timings for the first shift were from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm while the second shift started from 3:00 pm till 6:00 pm.

  1. The UGC NET June 2024 allegedly got ‘cancelled’ a day after its conduction because of paper leakage charges. The test was conducted in 317 cities from all over India and over 9 lakhs of candidates participated in it.

JKBOPEE Announces Online Preference Submission for B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Paramedical, and B.Sc. Technology Courses 2024

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&K BOPEE) has released a notification (No. 063-BOPEE of 2024) concerning the online submission of preferences for candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Paramedical, and B.Sc. Technology courses for the year 2024. This follows the declaration of the Provisional Merit List for these courses as per Notification No. 033-BOPEE of 2024 dated June 13, 2024.

Key Details:

1. Eligibility and Online Counselling:
– Eligible candidates with secured marks of 180 or above in the Common Entrance Test (CET) up to the rank 9347 in the Provisional Merit List are invited for the first round of online counselling.
– Candidates must verify their Name, Category, Date of Birth, and other details in the Provisional Merit List, and report any discrepancies physically at the BOPEE office in Jammu/Srinagar by August 5, 2024, to ensure timely corrections.

2. Submission of Preferences:

4. Seat Allocation:
– Seats will be allotted based on S.O. 176 dated May 15, 2024, and S.O. 305 dated May 31, 2024, by the Social Welfare Department, UT of J&K.

– Course structures are to be verified directly with the respective colleges.

5. Important Notes:
– Submission of preferences does not guarantee admission; eligibility will be verified at the time of admission.
– Candidates not reporting to the allotted college within the stipulated time will lose their seat.
– Admission is provisional and subject to cancellation if discrepancies or false information are found.
