The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Research Assistant (RA) for a project titled “Maximising Hydropower production from multi-reservoir system on Jhelum River- J&K”. The project is funded by the J&K Science Technology & Innovation Council, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir.

The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The monthly emolument for the position is Rs. 20,000/month (Consolidated).

Eligibility

• Essential qualification:
  • B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or not less than 60%
  • M.E/M.Tech in Water Resource Engineering/Hydraulics Engineering or related field with CGPA of 6.5 or not less than 60%.
• Desirable qualification:
  • Knowledge of Python and R.
