No Extension in Winter Vacations in Kashmir Valley, says Official

Srinagar, Mar 3 (GNS): Putting an end to the speculations around the extension of winter vacations in Kashmir valley, an official on Sunday evening said all schools will resume for classwork from tomorrow (Monday).

Talking to GNS, an Education Department official said that there is no extension of any sort with regard to vacations ending today – March 3, 2023.

“All the schools across Kashmir valley will formally resume for classwork from tomorrow,” the official said adding had there been anything regarding this, they would have put it in public domain.

“All the students are welcomed in advance as they are about to resume their classes,” the official said while requesting the parents to send their wards to their respective schools.

Pertinent to mention here that romours were rife in public circles across Kashmir regarding the extension of winter vacations after a private school asked its students to report back to classwork from March 9, 2024. (GNS)
