JKSSB Accounts Assistant Document Verification: Essential Documents and Guidelines

3. One original photo ID Proof (Aadhar card/Voter Card/Pan Card/Passport, etc.).
4. Date of Birth Certificate (10 Diploma/Marks card).
5. Valid Category Certificate, if belonging to reserved categories.
6. Domicile Certificate.
7. 10+2 Marks Sheet/Diploma.
8. Graduation Degree & Marks Card from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks for open merit and 45% marks for reserved categories. Candidates with a postgraduate degree, holding a PhD degree, or equivalent must produce relevant documents.
9. Bonafide certificate on the format prescribed by the Board, issued by the Controller/Registrar of the concerned University/Board/Institute for candidates who obtained qualifications from outside the UT of J&K.
10. Checklist sheet/form to be submitted by candidates at the time of D.V. (as per Annexure B).

Guidelines for Candidates:

JKSSB Veterinary Pharmacist Exam 2024: Provisional Answer Key Released

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) recently conducted the Written Examination for the post of Veterinary Pharmacist in the Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department. The exam, which took place on 11th February 2024, aimed to fill vacancies across District and Division Cadres, as per Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2021.

Provisional Answer Key Details

The Provisional Answer Key for the question paper, categorized into Series A, B, C, and D, is now available for candidates. This key is attached as Annexure “A” to the official notice. Candidates are encouraged to review the answer key to ensure accuracy and fairness in the evaluation process.

Objection Submission Process

Candidates who identify discrepancies or have objections to the provided answers can submit their objections/representations using the prescribed format/proforma provided in Annexure “B.” Along with this, candidates must include documentary proof/evidence supporting their claims in hard copy format. Additionally, a fee of Rs. 200/- per question (refundable in case of valid objections) is required, payable through a demand draft favoring the Accounts Officer, J&K Services Selection Board.

Submission Timeline and Venue

Objections/representations are to be submitted in offline mode only. Candidates can submit their concerns at the JKSSB office located at CPO Chowk, Panjtirthi, Jammu, or JKSSB, Zamzam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar. The submission period begins on 12th February 2024 and lasts for three working days during office hours.

Important Notes

– The Board will not entertain objections submitted after the stipulated period.
– Individual notification regarding the acceptance or non-acceptance of objections will not be provided.
– If objections are found to be valid, the Answer Key will be revised for all candidates.

Sub-zero temp continue in Kashmir, minus 4.7°C in Srinagar

Srinagar, Feb 11(GNS): Sub-zero conditions continued in Jammu and Kashmir with Srinagar recording a low of minus 4.7°C on Saturday.

A meteorological department official here told GNS that the temperature in Srinagar increased by two notches from previous night’s minus 4.9°C and it was below normal by 4.9°C for the summer capital of J&K for this time of the year.

Qazigund recorded a minimum of minus 4.4°C against minus 5.8°C on the previous night and it was 3.4°C below normal for the gateway town of Kashmir, the MeT official said.

Pahalgam recorded a low of minus 7.9°C against minus 8.6°C on the previous night and it was 2.9°C below normal for the famous resort in south Kashmir.

Kokernag, also in south Kashmir, recorded a minimum of minus 3.2°C against minus 3.7°C on the previous night and the temperature was below normal by 1.7°C for the place, the official said.

Kupwara town in north Kashmir recorded a low of minus 4.3°C against minus 4.4°C on the previous night and it was 3.1°C below normal there, the official said.

Gulmarg, the official said, recorded a low of minus 6.5°C against minus 7.0°C on the previous night and the temperature was below normal by 0.3°C for the world famous skiing resort in north Kashmir.

Jammu, he said, recorded a minimum of 7.8°C and it was below normal by 2.3°C for the winter capital of J&K.

Banihal recorded a low of 4.2°C, Batote minus 0.3°C and Bhaderwah minus 0.6°C, he said.

Regarding the forecast, the MeT official said that weather is expected to be dry till February 17.

“Overall, dry weather is expected till February 17 with occasionally cloudy evening during February 14.”

Regarding the outlook during February 18-20, he said, there is possibility of light snow and rain.

As ‘Chillai-Kalan’, the 40-day harsh period of winter ended on January 29, Kashmir is presently in the middle of 20-day-long winter period called ‘Chillai-Khurd’ that ends on February 19 and is followed by a 10-day-long period ‘Chillai-Bachha’ (baby cold) which starts from February 20 to March 1. 1. From 09-02-2024, 1700 hrs. to 10-02-2024, 1700 hrs, there was slow movement observed on NH-44 due to breakdown of 02 HMVs and single lane traffic at Dalwas, poor surface condition of road at several places between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel.

2. Passengers/LMVs operators are advised to prefer journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW during day time. Please avoid journey during night hours as apprehension of shooting stones between Ramban and Banihal.

3. HMVs Operators/Owners are requested to desist from overloading and carry sufficient fuel during journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. It is further requested that vehicle owners must double check the fitness of their vehicles and carry sufficient fuel before undertaking journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW.

4. HMVs with only 06 and 10 tyres shall be allowed to ply through Dhar road.

Srinagar, Feb 10: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary and In-charge Jammu and Kashmir, Tarun Chugh on Saturday said that his party is in favour of early assembly polls in the Union Territory and that the polls will be held before September this year.

Talking to media persons, Chug, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that the elections have to be announced by the election commission itself, and it is true that the polls will be held before September 2024, but BJP is in the favour of early elections here.

In the last over four years, he said that the efforts have been made to ensure progress and peace in Jammu and Kashmir. “From August 2019 to till date, every minute and second under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been dedicated to ensure peace, progress and development in J&K. All the benefits being given to the people from outside are being ensured to the people in the UT as well,” he said.

He further said that the people belonging to ST and SC communities have been empowered without touching their reservations.

Chug also added that those who were being pushed to the wall are getting benefits now and the atrocities being committed on three families—Abdullahs, Muftis and Gandhis, have been ended under PM Modi leadership—(KNO)

NEET UG 2024: Updated syllabus and exam pattern explained

National Medical Commission (NMC) notified that the syllabus of NEET UG 2024 has been updated with respect to the previous year.

NEET UG 2024 registration process has started on the new website of NTA NEET at neet.ntaonline.in. This year changes have been made concerning exam centres, syllabus and more.

Regarding the exam centres, it has been decided that NEET UG 2024 will not be conducted outside India. Within the country, a total of 544 centres are available for candidates who are interested in registering for the exam.

Exam Pattern:

There will be 4 subjects and each subject will consist of two sections. Section A will have 35 questions and section B will have 15 questions. Of the 15 questions in section B, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 questions.

According to the information bulletin released by NTA, to rationalise the decision of reduction in the syllabus by various School Education Boards, the NTA decided to provide choice in Section “B” for each of the 4 subjects.

Syllabus:

National Medical Commission (NMC) notified that the syllabus of NEET UG 2024 has been updated with respect to the previous year. It was informed that topics that are neither being taught anywhere in the school board nor available in the latest book of NCERT, have been deleted.

On questions arising as to why topics were deleted, NTA informed that due to the COVID-19 scenario, various school boards deleted portions of each subject’s syllabus. The deleted portions were still not being taken back by these boards and the deletions were not uniform across various boards. Hence, several requests were received by the NTA for the revision of the syllabus.
