1. The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education recently issued Minor Correction Slip No: 275 of 2023 on 09-12-2023. This correction stems from Order No: 837-B of 2015 dated: 07-12-2015 and Order No: 838-B of 2015 dated: 08-12-2015, issued by the Central Administration and approved by the Joint Secretary (Certificates) Jammu Division. The purpose of this sanction is to rectify minor transcriptional errors in the Candidate’s Name, Parentage, and Registration No. found on Marks Cards and Qualification Certificates.

The correction specifically targets candidates who successfully completed the Higher Secondary Part-1 (Class 11) and Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th) Examination. These adjustments are pertinent to the details recorded under the Roll No and Session mentioned against each candidate. The rectification process adheres to the information already registered with the Board by the concerned candidates.

The Administration Central, along with approval from the Joint Secretary (Certificates) Jammu Division, has sanctioned the rectification of minor transcriptional errors in the Names, Parentage, and Registration Numbers of candidates who passed the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) and Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11th) Examination. Cyber Police Kashmir Issues Advisory Urging Responsible Social Media Use

Srinagar, Dec 10: Cyber Police Kashmir on Sunday issued an advisory urging social media users in the region to exercise responsibility aimed at discouraging spread of rumors, fake news, hate speech, and inappropriate content.

“All the social media users are advised to use social media platform responsibly and refrain from sharing rumours, fake news, hate speech or obscene, violent and defamatory content,” reads an advisory issued by Cyber Police, as per GNS.

“Moreover, social media users are cautioned not to indulge in propagation of terrorist and secessionist ideology and false narrative.”

“Circulation of any incriminatory content received from other users without verifying the actual facts may be avoided and on noticing/receiving any such information, instead of sharing with others, immediately inform Cyber Police Kashmir. Stay informed, be responsible,” the advisory further added. (GNS)

More Than 2 Lac Aspirants Appear in JKSSB Panchayat Secretary (VLW) Exams Across J&K, Provisional Key Announced

Srinagar, Dec 10: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) Sunday conducted exams for the post of Panchayat Secretary/Village Level Worker under Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department.

The OMR-based exam, as per news agency Kashmir Scroll, saw appearance of more than two lac aspirants for a total of 1395 vacancies.

The exams were successfully held across the centres set-up across Jammu and Kashmir.

Notably, the Recruitment agency on Sunday evening only announced the answer keys for each series (A, B, C, D).

“Any candidate having objection(s) to the answer key, may submit his/her objection(s)/representation(s) in respect of such question(s) on prescribed format/proforma annexed herewith as Annexure “B” along with the documentary proof/evidence substantiating the claim (hard copies only) and a fee of Rs. 200/- (in the form of demand draft) per question (refundable in case of genuine/correct representation/objection) in favour of the Accounts Officer, J&K Services Selection Board”, the Recruitment agency said in the notification.

“In case, the objection is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised accordingly in respect of all candidates. No candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her objection individually.”

“The objections/representations can be submitted in offline mode only, in the office of JKSSB, CPO Chowk, Panjtirthi, Jammu/JKSSB, Zamzam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar on three working days starting from 11-12-2023, during office hours only. The Board shall not entertain any such representations/objections after the expiry of the stipulated period or through any other mode”, it said further. (KS)

TRAFFIC POLICE HEADQUARTERS, J&K, JAMMU/SRINAGAR

1. From 09-12-2023, 1700 hrs. to 10-12-2023, 1700 hrs., there was slow movement observed on NH-44 due to breakdown of 02 HMVs and poor surface condition of road at Dalwas and single lane traffic at Cafeteria- Mehad, Magerkote, Nachlana between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel.

2. Passengers/LMVs operators are advised to prefer journey on Jammu- Srinagar NHW during day time. Please avoid journey during night hours as movement of nomads from Kashmir valley towards Jammu may cause inconvenience to the commuters.

3. HMVs Operators/Owners are requested to desist from overloading and carry sufficient fuel during journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. It is further requested that vehicle owners must double check the fitness of their vehicles and carry sufficient fuel before undertaking journey on Jammu- Srinagar NHW.

4. HMVs with only 06 and 10 tyres shall be allowed to ply through Dhar road.

TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 11-12-2023:-

Subject to fair weather and good road condition, LMVs Passenger/Private Cars/HMVs/Load Carriers shall be allowed from both sides on Jammu- Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) viz Jammu towards Srinagar and vice- versa. Commuters are advised to follow lane discipline.

SFS Convoy Movement:-

Subject to fair weather and good road condition, Security Forces vehicles shall be allowed from both sides on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44) viz Jammu towards Srinagar and vice-versa.

SSG ROAD

Subject to fair weather and good road condition, vehicular movement on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road shall be allowed from both sides viz Srinagar towards Kargil and vice-versa. LMVS followed by HMVS shall be allowed from Minamarg towards Srinagar between 0830 hrs. to 1100 hrs. Similarly, LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Sonamarg towards Kargil between 1230 hrs to 1530 hrs. No vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timings.

SFS Convoy, plying from Srinagar to Kargil, shall leave Srinagar at 0800 hrs. SFS Convoy plying from Drass to Srinagar shall plan their movement in such a manner so that Civil Traffic doesn’t get disturbed.

Mughal Road:-

Subject to fair weather and good road condition, vehicular movement on

Mughal road shall be allowed from both sides viz. Poonch towards Shopian

and vice versa. These vehicles shall be allowed from Behramgalla (Buffliaz)

and Herpora (Shopian) between 0600 hrs. to 1800 hrs. No vehicle shall be

allowed after cut of timings

People are advised to undertake journey on NH-44 only after confirming

status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
