Indian Oil Corporation Limited, IOCL has invited applications for Apprentice posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of IOCL at iocl.com. This recruitment drive will fill up 1720 posts in the organization

The registration process begins on October 21 and will end on November 20, 2023. Read below for eligibility, selection process and other details.

IOCL Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The prescribed qualification for Class XII / Graduate / Diploma holders should be from a recognized Board/ University/Institute as a regular full time course in the relevant trade/discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PwBD category candidates for the seats reserved for them) in aggregate. The age limit should be between 18 years to 24 years of age as on October 31, 2023. Relaxation of upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates shall be extended as per Govt. guidelines.

IOCL Recruitment 2023 Selection Process

The selection process comprises of written test. Written Test will be conducted with Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) consisting of four options with one correct option. A candidate will have to secure minimum 40% marks in Written Test for qualifying the selection process. For more related details candidates can check the official website of IOCL.

How to apply:

1. Applications are invited by Indian Oil for Apprenticeship at its Refineries at Guwahati, Digboi, Bongaigaon (all 3 in Assam), Barauni (Bihar), Vadodara (Gujarat), Haldia (West Bengal), Mathura (UP), Panipat {Panipat Refinery & Petrochemical Complex (PRPC)} (Haryana) and Paradip (Odisha).

2. A candidate can apply for apprenticeship in any one of the Refinery unit of his/her choice.

3. Option for exercising the choice of a Refinery unit has been provided in the application menu (on-line application portal) which shall open at 10.00 hours on 21-10-2023 and close at 17.00 hours on 20-11-2023.

4. Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria for a trade/discipline, may visit the website www.iocl.com, go
to ‘What’s New’ > go to Engagement of Apprentices under Refineries Division> Click on “Detailed
advertisement” (to refer to the Advertisement) > Click on “Click here to Apply Online” (to fill online
application form). The candidate must have an active email ID and mobile phone number which must remain valid for at least next one year. All future communication with candidate will take place only through website/email/SMS alerts. Applications submitted through on-line mode will only be accepted.

5. The candidate should have scanned copy of colour photograph and signature in jpg format (size not exceeding 50 KB) ready before applying on-line. The photo and signature in digital form will be required to be uploaded.

6. The candidate must ascertain the correctness of all information before filling in the On-line Application Form and its final submission.

7. The candidate shall be wholly/exclusively responsible for the information provided in his/her online application form.

8. Incomplete applications, applications not fulfilling the eligibility criteria/parameters and applications received in
mode /form other than on-line mode shall be treated as “Rejected”.

9. A copy of on-line application shall be retained by the candidate for reference and produced for verification at the time of Document Verification.

Staff Selection Commission has started the registration process for SSC SSA/UDC Exam. Candidates who want to apply for Senior Secretariat Assistant/Upper Division Clerk Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2020, 2021 & 2022 can do it through the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in.

The selection process comprises of written examination. The candidate must note that the Examination shall be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission in Delhi only.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1. The Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of examination for which they are admitted by the Commission viz., Computer Based Examination, Written Examination and evaluation of Service Record will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification, at any time before or after the Computer Based, Written Examination and evaluation of Service Record, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions their candidature for the examination will be cancelled by the Commission.

(a) Before filling the Online Application Form, the candidates must carefully go through the Notice of the examination to ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions for the post applied. The eligibility conditions prescribed in the Notice shall not be relaxed under any circumstances. Further, the candidates must go

through the instructions to the candidates for filling up online application form as
per Annexure-IV (One-Time Registration) and Annexure-V (Online Application Form).

(b) The candidate must note that the Examination shall be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission in Delhi only. Information about the Examination indicating the time table and City/Centre of examination for the candidates will be uploaded on the website of the Northern Regional Office of the Commission
https://sscnr.nic.in about two weeks before the date of examination. If any candidate does not find his/her details on the website of Northern Regional Office of the Commission, one week before the date of examination, he/she must immediately contact the Northern Regional Office of the Commission with proof of having submitted his/her application failing which he/she will deprive himself/herself of any claim for consideration of candidature for the examination.

The Commission reserves the right to cancel any Centre and ask the candidates of that Centre to appear at another centre. Commission also reserves the right to divert candidates of any Centre to some other Centre to take the examination.

Note-I:-Candidates may please note that there will be no centre at any India mission abroad. A candidate serving at an Indian mission abroad will have to appear for this examination in India at his/her own expense.
