JKBOPEE counselling for admission to NEET MD/MS/PGD Courses in various Government/Private colleges

Conduct of Mop Up Round (upgradation/ allotment) of (Physical) counselling for admission to NEET MD/MS/PGD Courses in various Government/Private medical/dental colleges/institutions of the UT of J&K including seats under the HMQ and NRI quota in the ASCOMS, 2023.

Reference: i) Notification No. 052-BOPEE of 2023 dated 07.08.2023.
ii) Notification No. 065-BOPEE of 2023 dated 20.08.2023
iii) Interim order dated 25.08.2023 of the Hon’ble High Court of J&K and Ladakh at Srinagar in WP(C) No 2233/2023, CM No 5216 / 2023 titled Nadeem-ur-Rehman & Ors. vs. UT of J&K & Ors.

Whereas, the National Board of Examination (NBE) declared the result of the NEET PG 2023 and thereupon
subsequent Notifications/Notices were issued by the Board with regard to Registration/Verification of documents,
filling up of online preferences and other actions including notifying sports merit of candidates for MD/MS/PG
Diploma and MDS courses– 2023, vide Annexure-A & B of Notification No.052-BOPEE of 2023 dated 07.08.2023; and

2. Whereas, pursuant to the above, the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations vide Notification No.
065-BOPEE of 2023 dated 20.08.2023 issued the Provisional Selection Lists of the candidates for undergoing
MD/MS/PGD Courses- 2023 in various Government/Private medical/dental colleges/institutions of the UT of J&K; and

3. Whereas, after the issuance of the aforesaid Provisional Selection Lists, 12 candidates belonging to the
Reserved Categories of RBA and Sports approached the Hon’ble High Court of J&K and Ladakh at Srinagar by means of
the above referred writ petition, inter-alia, praying for quashment of the Provisional Selection List dated 20.08.2023
and for a direction upon the official respondents to adhere to the mandate of Rule 17 of the J&K Reservation Rules,
2005; and

4. Whereas, the Hon’ble High Court upon consideration of the matter, while issuing notice to the respondents
was pleased to pass an interim order dated 25-08-2023, the operative part of which reads as under:

“5) In the meanwhile, till next date of hearing, it is provided that in case respondents fill up the seats in the aforesaid disciplines in the Colleges impleaded as respondents No. 3 to 6, the same shall be on provisional basis and will be subject to outcome of Writ Petition. It is further made clear that any such selection made by the respondents shall not confer any right upon the selected candidates.”

5. Whereas, while the Board has already filled its objections in the writ petition ibid, in the meanwhile the process relating to Mop Up Round of counselling for filling up the MD/MS/PGD seats is required to be initiated,
keeping in view the time schedule issued by the Medical Counselling Committee, Ministry of Health and Family
Welfare, Government of India; and

6. Whereas, the Board intends to fill up the MD/MS/PGD seats in the Mop Up Round of Counselling that remained unfilled after the conclusion of the Second Round of Counseling including the seats received as short- fall /resignations from the concerned Colleges / Institutions; and

7. Whereas, during the Mop Up Round of Counselling, the Board also intends to fill up the seats under Hindu Minority Quota (HMQ) and the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) in ASCOMS, Jammu, as stipulated in the Notification No. 065-BOPEE of 2023 Dated 20-08-2023, issued by the Board; and

Result/Score-sheet of Written Test for the post of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) regarding.

Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) conducted Written Examination for the post of Junior Engineer (Mechanical), PWD Department, UT Cadre, advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2022, under Item No. 202, on 01st October, 2023; and

Whereas, the JKSSB, vide Notice No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/67/2023-03 (7271536), dated: 01-10-2023, issued provisional Answer Key in respect of the written test; and

Whereas, the objections were examined and the revised/final answer key in respect of written examination held for the said post has been notified vide No. JKSSB- COEOEXAM(UT)/67/2023-03 (7271536) dated: 12-10-2023; and

Now, therefore, in view of the above, the result/score-sheet, based on the

performance of candidates who appeared in the Written Test for the post Junior Engineer

(Mechanical), PWD Department, UT Cadre, advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 06 of

2022, under Item No. 202, conducted on 01-10-2023, is hereby notified as Annexure “A”.

It is further notified that:

I. mere figuring in the result/score sheet shall not entitle a candidate to be called for document verification or figure in the select list and that he/she has to fulfil other eligibility conditions, as laid down and decision of the Board in this regard shall be final.

II. the Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) will call candidates falling in the consideration zone, based on the merit obtained by them for document verification. The schedule for document verification shall be notified separately.

2. Result of Driving Test for the posts of Driver/Driver Gr.II/Tractor
Driver/Driver II – regarding.

Whereas, in pursuance of the Advertisement Notification Nos. 05 of 2021, 02 of 2022, 04 of 2022 and 01 of 2023, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board conducted driving test for various posts of Driver/Driver Gr.II/Driver II/Tractor Driver, in different Cadres/ Departments, under various Item numbers from 21-08-2023 to 12-10- 2023; and

Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board vide Notification No. JKSSB-COE0EXAM(UT)/57/2023-03-SSB, dated: 12-08-2023, issued schedule for driving test w.e.f. 21-08-2023 to 09-10-2023, for the above said posts; and
Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board vide Notification No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/57/2023-03-SSB, dated: 06-10-2023, issued a revised
schedule for conduct of driving test on 12-10-2023 at State Motor Garages, Bemina, Srinagar for those candidates who had appeared before the designated Driving Test Committee on the day of their driving test but their driving test could not be conducted on account of pending clarification; and

Now, therefore, in view of the above, the result of driving test based on the
performance of candidates who have qualified the Driving Test for the posts of
Driver/Driver Gr.II/Driver II/Tractor Driver, in different departments/cadres, advertised vide Notification Nos. 05 of 2021, 02 of 2022, 04 of 2022 and 01 of 2023, under various Item numbers, conducted from 21-08-2023 to 09-10-2023 and on 12-10-2023, is hereby notified as Annexure “A”.
Further, it is also notified for the information of all the candidates figuring in Annexure “A”, that Written Test for the said posts shall be conducted in the second fortnight of November, 2023 tentatively. It is further notified that:

(i) mere figuring in this notification shall not entitle a candidate to be called for next stage or figure in the select list and that he has to fulfil other eligibility
conditions, as laid down and decision of the Board in this regard shall be final.
(ii) any candidate desirous of making representation with regard to the result
notification or clubbing of multiple Application IDs/Notifications( If not already.

The following candidates have been provisionally selected on the basis of merit for Integrated B. Ed. M. Ed Programme (2023-2026) in the School of
Education, Central University of Kashmir, subject to fulfilment of necessary formalities.

NECESSARY INSTRUCTIONS:

1. The students must deposit admission fee by logging to their SAMARTH account on which they have submitted their application form earlier.

2. The selection list has been prepared purely on the basis of merit of CUET and other criteria prescribed by the University.

  • Provisionally selected candidates are required to bring following original documents & self-attested photocopies at the time of admission: –
    • All the marks sheets of qualifying degree examination & valid category certificate issued by the competent authority.
    • Provisional and Character Certificate in original and self-attested photocopies.
    • Migration Certificate (original and self-attested photocopy).
    • Domicile Certificate (original and self-attested photocopy).

3. OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer and is required to submit the certificate (original) in the prescribed GOI format.

4. All the admissions shall be provisional and subject to satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria, verification of certificates/marks sheets and category
certificates.

5. Only those candidates have been considered for admission who had completed their qualifying degrees by or before the date of counselling as per CUK policy.

6. Candidates belonging to Ganderbal district applying for the supernumerary seat reserved for residents of Ganderbal area are advised to bring along
Domicile certificate in order to be considered for the seat.

7. Selected outstation candidates (from other states/UTs within country are especially advised to deposit the admission fee through online mode and their admissions shall be subject to the production of original documents upon joining the Department at CUK.

8. The Selected candidates shall have to fill in the anti-ragging forms available on the www.ugc.ac.in & www.antiragging.in and write its application code on
the admission form at the end.

9. Those students whose final semester result is awaited are directed to submit an undertaking (Copy attached).

10. The selected candidates are directed to complete their admission formalities by or before 13th of October2023.

MeT predicts widespread rains, ‘significant’ drop in temperature from Oct 14-18 in J&K

Srinagar Oct 12(GNS): Weatherman on Wednesday forecast widespread intermittent light to moderate rain and snowfall over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir from October 14-18.

A meteorological department official here told GNS that mainly clear weather was expected in next 24 hours and on October 13, “partly cloudy becoming cloudy” towards evening was expected. “There is possibility of rain/snow over higher reaches towards night at scattered places of J&K.”

He said widespread intermittent light to moderate rain and snowfall over higher reaches was likely with over 75% chances from October 14-18.

There was “significant drop in temperature expected across during these days.

The weatherman department has also urged farmers to postpone harvesting of crops from October 14-18
He said there may be temporarily disruption of transportation especially at vulnerable places like Zojila, Mugal Road, Sinthantop, Sadnatop etc. (GNS)

CBSE has announced the dates of practical examination for winter bound schools. Students can check the dates by visiting the official site of CBSE.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates of practical examination of board exam 2024. Students can see the official notice related to class 10, 12 examination on the official site of CBSE cbse.gov.in. This notice has been issued for winter bound schools.

According to the notice, practical exam/project/internal assessment for session 2023-24 for both classes 10 and 12 will be conducted from 14 November to 14 December 2023.

All practicals will be uploaded at the time of exam. The work of uploading the numbers will have to be completed by the day of the last practical exam.

No external examiner will be appointed for Class 10 practicals. At the same time, for class 12th practicals, the board will appoint external examiners in each school to conduct examinations and project evaluation.

In the notice issued by the board, it has been asked to ensure fair and proper evaluation. If the number of students is more than 30 then the practical exam will be conducted in two or three sessions in a day

CBSE will conduct practical exams for all affiliated schools in India and abroad from January 1, 2024, except schools located in winter areas. For more information, students can check the official website of CBSE.
