Srinagar, Nov 23, KNT: Meteorologist Sonam Lotus today said that Jammu and Kashmir is unlikely to witness any major weather activity until December 15, adding that the prevailing dry spell is expected to continue across the region. He said that temperatures will dip further in the coming days, intensifying the ongoing cold wave, particularly in the Valley.

Speaking to Kashmir News Trust, Lotus said that the current atmospheric conditions indicate a prolonged period of dry and stable weather with no major precipitation in sight. He added that although skies will largely remain clear, mornings and evenings will turn colder as minimum temperatures continue to fall.

“It will remain dry and clear,” he said. “But the cold will intensify in the mornings and evenings. The minimum temperature may go down further, possibly touching minus three to four degrees.”
