Tentative Selection List of Helpers/AAYAs under ECCE in approved schools for the year 2023-24. (Phase-1)
The Office of the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Mattan has published a tentative selection list of Helpers/AAYAs under the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) program for the year 2023-24.
A total of 251 applications were received from eligible candidates. The applications were scrutinized by a School Level Screening Committee, a Zonal Level Committee, and a Scrutiny Committee. The selection was made on the basis of merit and preference, as per the guidelines of the Directorate of Samagra Shiksha, J&K UT.
The tentative selection list includes the names of the candidates, their villages/wards, their qualifications, and their category (BPL, AAY, etc.).
Candidates who have been included in the tentative selection list have been asked to submit their original documents for verification within seven days from the date of publication of the notification.
The final selection list will be published after the verification of documents is complete.
The ZEO Mattan has invited objections to the tentative selection list. Objections can be submitted in writing to the ZEO office within seven days from the date of publication of the notification.
This is the first phase of the selection process. More phases will be announced in due course.
The ECCE program is a Government of India initiative that provides early childhood education to children aged 3-6 years. The program is implemented through Anganwadi centers and government schools.
The AAYA/Helper is responsible for assisting the Anganwadi worker/teacher in providing care and education to the children. They are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the Anganwadi center/school.
The selection of Helpers/AAYAs is made on the basis of merit and preference. Preference is given to candidates from the BPL category, widows, divorced women, orphans, and elder candidates.
