JKPSC KAS Prelims 2025: Download Question Paper PDF – JKCEE 2025 (Pre)

The long-awaited 2025 preliminary question paper for the JKPSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE / KAS) is now available for download. Aspirants preparing for the upcoming mains or future attempts can access the full question paper in PDF format — ideal for self-practice, revision, and mock tests.

We strongly recommend every serious aspirant to download this PDF, store it safely, and attempt the paper under timed conditions to simulate the real exam.

What Is JKPSC KAS / CCE Prelims 2025?

The JKPSC — Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission — conducts the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE), commonly referred to as the KAS exam, annually to recruit officers for Administrative, Police and Accounts services in the UT.

The 2025 Prelims paper marks the first stage in this selection process. For many aspirants, solving previous-year question papers — especially the latest one — is the most effective way to evaluate preparedness, analyze question trends, and improve time management under exam conditions.

Why Download the 2025 Prelims Paper? 5 Key Benefits

  1. Real exam pattern & difficulty level — The 2025 paper reflects the current pattern of the exam (question style, marking scheme, coverage).
  2. Accurate time practice — Attempting the actual paper helps you practice completing 200-mark objective papers in 2 hours, mirroring the real exam timing.
  3. Identifying strengths and weaknesses — Post-practice analysis reveals which topics you are strong in and which need more revision.
  4. Familiarity with JKPSC style — Repeated exposure to JKPSC’s question phrasing, subject mix, and difficulty helps ease exam stress.
  5. Revision resource for mains or later attempts — The paper can be reused periodically for self-assessment even after mains are over.

JKPSC 2025 Prelims Exam: Key Highlights & Context

  • The 2025 Prelims exam of JKPSC was scheduled for 7 December 2025.
  • The exam consists of two objective papers: General Studies (Paper I) and Aptitude / CSAT (Paper II).
  • Each paper carries 200 marks and has a duration of 2 hours.
  • For Paper II (CSAT / Aptitude), there is a minimum qualifying mark criterion (candidates must score at least 33%).
  • Both papers are mandatory; skipping any paper will lead to disqualification.

Thus, the 2025 question paper gives you a clear picture of what to expect under the latest exam format — making it a must-have resource even before the mains exam or future attempts.

How to Use the 2025 Prelims Paper Effectively: A Step-by-Step Guide

To get the maximum benefit from the downloaded PDF, follow this structured approach:

1. Simulate Exam Conditions

  • Use a timer: 2 hours per paper.
  • Use only a pen/blue-black ballpoint (as allowed in actual exam).
  • Avoid distractions; sit in a quiet place.
This helps you build stamina and realistic time management for the real exam day.

2. Attempt Both Papers Consecutively (if possible)

Sitting both Paper I and Paper II back-to-back with a short break in between helps recreate the dual-shift scenario (morning and afternoon), giving you a feel of the actual exam-day schedule.

3. Self-Mark and Analyze

After completing, mark your answers (write down correct/incorrect). Then:

  • Tabulate subject-wise performance (for GS: history, polity, geography, etc.; for CSAT: reasoning, comprehension, mental ability).
  • Identify which topics you struggled with — prepare a revision list.
  • Note time taken per section — helps improve speed in next attempts.

4. Compare with Standard Answers / Key (if available)

If there’s an answer key circulating (on forums, coaching websites), use it to cross-check. Else, use textbooks or trusted sources. This helps reinforce correct knowledge and rectify misconceptions.

5. Use as a Recurring Mock Test

Keep the paper as one of your “mock exam bank” — attempt again after 2–3 months to measure improvement. This consistency helps long-term retention and boosts confidence.

Tips to Combine 2025 Paper Practice With Preparation Strategy

If you are currently preparing for the mains or a future CCE attempt, here’s how to blend paper practice with a structured study plan:

  • Begin with the fundamentals: Use class-wise NCERTs for core subjects like History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Science — these lay a strong foundation.
  • Refer to the official syllabus and exam pattern: Make sure your topic coverage aligns with the syllabus of both Prelims and Mains.
  • Maintain concise notes for each topic: Helps quick revision before exam.
  • Incorporate Current Affairs — both national and J&K-specific — as GS Paper I often tests recent developments.
  • Practice CSAT (Paper II) regularly: Improving speed and accuracy in aptitude, reasoning, comprehension etc., will protect you from negative marking and help clear qualifying thresholds.

When used alongside the 2025 question paper PDF, this approach can significantly enhance your readiness and confidence.

JKBOSE Class 12 Re-Evaluation Result Declared for Jammu – Download Official PDF

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially announced the re-evaluation results for Class 12 (HSE-II) Annual Regular 2025 for the Jammu division. Students who had applied for re-evaluation of their answer sheets after the original result now have access to the updated outcome.

What the Notification Covers

  • The notification lists updated marks and status for all candidates who had applied for re-evaluation following the main Class 12 result 2025.
  • It applies to candidates of the Jammu division (Hard and Soft Zones) for HSE-II (Class 12).
  • In many cases, re-evaluation has resulted in changes — including improved marks, change in division, or status corrections.
  • For those whose marks remained unchanged after re-evaluation, the notification indicates “No Change.”

Students are advised to download and preserve the PDF for future reference, especially if they need to use their revised marks for college applications, scholarships, or further admission processes.

Why Re-Evaluation Matters

Re-evaluation (re-checking) of answer scripts is an important safety net for students who believe their original result does not accurately reflect their performance. The process ensures transparency and fairness.

Since the evaluation of answer sheets involves human oversight — especially in hand-written answer scripts — there is always a possibility of errors in totaling or marking. Re-evaluation provides an opportunity to rectify such mistakes and helps restore faith in the integrity of the evaluation system.

For several students, re-evaluation can make a major difference: gaining a few extra marks may change a “pass” into “distinction,” or improve the division/grade, which can play a decisive role for higher-education admissions.

How Students Can Check Their Updated Result

  1. Visit the official JKBOSE website (usually: jkbose.nic.in).
  2. Navigate to the “Results” or “Re-evaluation / Photocopy” section.
  3. Look for the link corresponding to “Class 12 Re-evaluation Result 2025 – Jammu Division (HSE-II / Annual Regular)”.
  4. Click on the link — this will open (or download) a PDF notification (e.g. 25BJTP-Notif090.PDF).
  5. Open the PDF and search for your roll number / name to view the updated status and marks.
  6. If you’ve improved or your division/status has changed, download or save the PDF for record.

Tip: It’s wise to take a printout or screenshot of the updated result. Many colleges / admission portals may ask for this if your marks have changed after re-evaluation.

Important Background: JKBOSE & Its Evaluation System

  • JKBOSE — the Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education — is the recognized board governing school education, including Class 12, in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
  • Unlike some boards that use GPA/grade-based assessment, JKBOSE follows a numeric marks-based system for Class 12.
  • As a result, re-evaluation can meaningfully impact a student’s aggregate percentage and division (Distinction / First / Second / Third) — which can be decisive for higher-education eligibility, scholarships, and admissions.

What Changed in 2025 Re-Evaluation (Any Highlights)

  • According to multiple student-alert websites, the re-evaluation results for 2025 were released in July 2025.
  • The update covers both “Soft Zone” and “Hard Zone” notifications for the Jammu division.
  • Many students reportedly saw improvements in marks or division/status, which underscores the importance of re-evaluation for fairness.

If you were among those who applied for re-evaluation and have yet to check your result — now is the time.

Advice for Students & Next Steps

  • Download the PDF immediately — don’t rely on temporary web pages. The official PDF (e.g. 25BJTP-Notif090.PDF) is the official record.
  • If your marks or division improved, save the updated PDF and note your new marks / grade.
  • If you had applied for re-evaluation but your result shows “No Change,” treat the original result as final.
  • Use the updated marks for college admission, scholarship applications, or other academic next steps.
  • Keep checking the JKBOSE official website for further notices: photocopy of answer scripts, supplementary/ compartment exams, or mark-sheet dispatch notifications.

Final Thoughts

The release of the 2025 re-evaluation result by JKBOSE for Class 12 (Jammu division) brings relief and closure for many students who had doubts about their original performance. The availability of a formal notification PDF — 25BJTP-Notif090.PDF — ensures transparency and fairness, allowing students to see where changes (if any) were made.

If you appeared in the 2025 HSE-II (Class 12) Annual Regular examination and had requested re-evaluation, don’t miss out — check the official PDF today.

Ruhullah Mehdi Seeks JKPSC Exam Postponement Amid Travel Disruptions

Srinagar, Dec 6, KNT: Member of Parliament Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi has formally urged the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission to postpone the upcoming JKPSC examination in view of widespread travel disruptions that have left many aspirants struggling to reach their allotted centres.

In a letter addressed to the Chairman of the JKPSC, dated December 6, 2025, Ruhullah said a significant number of candidates are facing serious difficulties due to the ongoing disruption in airline operations. He noted that frequent flight cancellations, prolonged delays and sudden rescheduling over the past several days have made it difficult for students to travel both within and outside the Union Territory.

The MP said several aspirants have conveyed that reaching their examination centres on the scheduled date may not be feasible under the current circumstances. He stressed that these difficulties are entirely beyond the control of candidates and proceeding with the examination as per the existing schedule could place a large section of aspirants at an unfair disadvantage.

Referring to the scale of inconvenience being reported, Ruhullah urged the Commission to objectively examine the possibility of postponing the examination to ensure that all candidates are provided a fair and equal opportunity to participate.

Expressing confidence in the JKPSC’s institutional credibility, he said the Commission is expected to give due consideration to the issue in keeping with its commitment to transparency and fairness in the conduct of competitive examinations. [KNT]
